The U.S. allegation that China had conducted nuclear testing is unsubstantiated and groundless. China has all along firmly supported the purposes and objectives of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty and honored the moratorium on nuclear testing, which is a commitment made by the five nuclear-weapon states.

Today’s threat of attack by nuclear weapons has never been more serious. The U.S. and nuclear powers must reverse direction, get back to negotiations and move towards joining the Treaty on the Prohibition on Nuclear Weapons.

#WATCH | Delhi | Defence Expert Praful Bakshi says, "Donald Trump is absolutely correct that Pakistan has nuclear weapons, and it is testing nuclear weapons... When nuclear testing is done underground, there is a fair amount of earthquake activity. The sea waves become so heavy that they are classified as a tsunami. So it is very harmful... This means the original SALT (Strategic Arms Limitation Talks) and the START (Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty) to curtail the weapons systems have all come to nought... At the moment, the world is on the brink and is in danger of facing nuclear weapon competition between the countries and proliferation of nuclear weapons..."

President Donald Trump said Thursday that he wouldn’t use a nuclear weapon in Iran and that nobody should be allowed to use them. “We don't need it. Why do I need it? Why would a stupid question like that be asked? Why would I use a nuclear weapon where we've totally in a very conventional way decimated them without it,” Trump said in a response to a question by PBS News’ Liz Landers. “A nuclear weapon should never be allowed to be used by anybody,” he added. Trump has often said that preventing Iran from getting a nuclear weapon is one of the reasons for launching the nearly two-month war. “You cannot give Iran a nuclear weapon. This is all about a nuclear weapon. They cannot have the nuclear bomb, and they're not going to have the nuclear bomb,” Trump said during his appearance Thursday in the Oval Office. Earlier this month, the president threatened that a “whole civilization will die” if Iran didn’t concede to his deadline to make a deal. Trump pulled back from that threat, leading to a temporary ceasefire.

BREAKING: Trump just gave an unhinged rationale for why he suddenly wants to resume nuclear testing for the first time since 1992: "They seem to all be nuclear testing. We have more nuclear weapons than anybody." He is unfit. Remove him now.

Here is Obama telling you a nuclear Iran is a threat to Israel’s national security and ours and nothing is off the table. Sadly he ended up making sure they could get to a nuclear weapon by sending them pallets of cash but even he paid lip service to the fact that Iran can’t have a nuclear weapon.

NEW: VP Vance warns that allowing Iran to have a nuclear weapon opens the door for more anti-American regimes to put the world in danger for future generations: "As the father of three young kids, I don't want them to inherit a world where 20 additional regimes, half of them very dangerous and very sympathetic to terrorists, have nuclear weapons." "We want to keep the number of countries that have nuclear weapons small, and that's why Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon on top of all the other things that we might be worried about."
