The U.S. allegation that China had conducted nuclear testing is unsubstantiated and groundless. China has all along firmly supported the purposes and objectives of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty and honored the moratorium on nuclear testing, which is a commitment made by the five nuclear-weapon states.

Chinese Foreign Ministry on reports claiming that China conducted nuclear tests: Such accusations are completely groundless. The US spares no effort to smear other countries. China urges the United States to abide by its commitment to a moratorium on nuclear testing, uphold the global consensus on banning nuclear tests, and stop seeking excuses to resume nuclear testing.

Russia and China have conducted super-critical nuclear weapons tests to advance their nuclear programs. The U.S. has been bound to a zero-yield test standard since 1992. It’s welcome news that President Trump is allowing us to conduct activities on par with Russia and China to advance and modernize the U.S. nuclear stockpile.

#WATCH | Delhi | Defence Expert Praful Bakshi says, "Donald Trump is absolutely correct that Pakistan has nuclear weapons, and it is testing nuclear weapons... When nuclear testing is done underground, there is a fair amount of earthquake activity. The sea waves become so heavy that they are classified as a tsunami. So it is very harmful... This means the original SALT (Strategic Arms Limitation Talks) and the START (Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty) to curtail the weapons systems have all come to nought... At the moment, the world is on the brink and is in danger of facing nuclear weapon competition between the countries and proliferation of nuclear weapons..."

It’s been 33 years since the U.S. last conducted a nuclear test. That decision made the world safer. Now, Trump is moving to restart nuclear weapons testing. There’s no reason for this. It’s reckless, unnecessary, and dangerously irresponsible. Where is Congress? This is a big deal.

Today’s threat of attack by nuclear weapons has never been more serious. The U.S. and nuclear powers must reverse direction, get back to negotiations and move towards joining the Treaty on the Prohibition on Nuclear Weapons.

BREAKING: China secretly conducted a massive nuclear test, Reuters reports it involved a strike of hundreds of tons. The U.S. says Beijing tried to hide the test, violating its pledge to ban live nuclear detonations. China claims the U.S. is fueling the arms race. China’s arsenal is rapidly growing: from 410 warheads in 2023 to 500 in 2024, now around 600, with projections to surpass 1,000 by 2030, adding 80–100 new warheads each year. The nuclear balance is shifting fast, and global tensions are rising.

Vladimir Putin has announced joint nuclear force drills between Russia and Belarus. A few months ago, Donald Trump said the U.S. would resume nuclear testing. Two nuclear powers. Both escalating. At the same time. This is not normal.

China is criticizing Australia for nuclear subs and Japan for debating its constitution and nuclear policies, accusing both of 'nuclear proliferation.' While China itself is set to build 1,000+ warheads by 2030 And that's not proliferation? Biggest hypocrite on the planet

64 years ago, the U.S. detonated Starfish Prime, a 1.4-megaton nuclear weapon in space, creating artificial radiation belts that damaged satellites for years. The test helped spur the 1963 Partial Test Ban Treaty and the 1967 Outer Space Treaty.

Having nuclear weapons is one thing. Surviving a nuclear attack and still being able to strike back is what defines a true nuclear superpower. Reports claim Pakistan asked China in 2024 for help building a sea-based nuclear deterrent, the most survivable form of nuclear capability. According to reports, China rejected Pakistan’s request and called the demand “unreasonable.” Today, only a handful of countries possess an operational sea-based nuclear deterrent: the United States, Russia, China, France, the United Kingdom, and India. India achieved this capability through its Arihant-class submarine programme, completing its nuclear triad with land, air, and sea-based nuclear forces. Pakistan’s reported push highlights how modern nuclear competition is no longer just about missiles on land — it is increasingly about what survives beneath the ocean. #China #Nuclear #submarine #Pakistan #indianarmy #NuclearSubmarine
