I genuinely cannot understand how someone can watch this story and still stand there, looking at two women, and somehow decide that the wrong one is the victim. On one side, you have a girl (Yıldız) who has been mistreated her entire life. Since the moment she was born, she was treated like a sacrifice for a conflict she was never even part of and later we find out that this conflict never even existed. Her right to study was taken from her. She was pushed into a marriage at a very young age just imagine being six, seven, eight years old, living in fear of being tied to someone you don’t even know. She was treated like a servant in her own home, by the very people she thought were her family. And just when she gets close to the happiness she dreamed of, the man she was engaged to shows up with another wife. She gets mistreated by that wife, by his family, and even (unintentionally) by him, because he was trying to run away from his own feelings, and that only caused her more heartbreak. The whole world was literally against her. She fought through all of that, only to find out in the end that everything she suffered for was based on something that wasn’t even real. Her entire life was built on a lie. That she isn’t even part of that family that she has literally no one in this world. Now on the other side… You have a girl (Melek) who, yes, was taken from her biological mother but she was raised by loving parents. She had everything anyone could wish for: education, freedom, a happy childhood, a healthy environment. She lived her life, fell in love, went out, made choices and no one questioned her, no one controlled her. And then what did she do? She found out that her man was engaged to another woman before marrying her (and even saw him marry her) and instead of holding on to her dignity, she chose to stay, to fight for a man who lied to her, to hold onto a marriage he tried to end multiple times. She used her unborn child to keep him tied to her. She lied constantly, and her excuse was that she was “protecting her marriage” a marriage that was already broken from the moment Serhat removed that ring at the airport in episode one. She tried to hand Yıldız (a woman who had already suffered enough) over to dangerous people. Then she found out the truth about her own birth (that her father ra*ped her mother.)And still no empathy. No moment of humanity toward her own mother. All she cared about was herself. And even though none of this had anything to do with Yıldız, she still found a way to blame it on her. Instead of holding her father accountable, she went and made a deal with him to get rid of Yıldız. She literally made a deal with the devil just to hurt Yıldız one more time. And after all of that… you want me to feel sorry for her? You want me to call her a victim? I honestly cannot believe we are living on the same planet with people who see this and still say, “she’s the victim.” Not morally. Not logically. Not emotionally. There is no world where this makes sense. It’s like watching someone clearly cause harm, and still calling them the victim and actually BELIEVING it. #HalefKöklerinÇağrısı

Michael Mann on the pivotal scene in Heat when Ashley Judd’s character Charlene chooses to warn Chris instead of giving him up to the police - despite knowing what it’s going to cost her: “In this scene, I confess I’m stunned with how wonderful Ashley Judd is; the expressions on her face as she processes all her options and what she has to do - and then she waves them off. She’s established early in the film as a practical, emotionally mature adult trying to put together a small family. And those are her values. They are family values. She knows that she ought to cooperate with the police and she ought to let Chris (Val Kilmer) fall. That would protect her child, and no instinct is more profound or powerful than the maternal instinct she has right there. And she’s set up for us to expect that she will do exactly that- even though the anguish would be intense, she would give up Chris to protect the family unit that remains. But when she goes to do that on the porch, she sees him and can’t help herself. She’s in love with the guy. You can see her face processing those choices, the endearment she feels for him, and then she does the irrational act and waves them off. In that moment, we see a look on Ashley’s face, we see a sense of what her future is going to be — which is going to be grim. And it’s there again when she closes her eyes as Drucker tells Vincent that the man was not Chris. But of course - it was. And then this is the final moment of Ashley Judd/Charlene Shiherlis in the film: an awareness of the separation from her man, an awareness of what her future holds for her. And with Chris, there’s a parallel moment of realization.” From the director’s commentary track off the Heat Blu-ray

Mabel Chinomona is not merely an embarrassment to leadership. She is a case study in how power decays when it falls into hands that mistake noise for authority. Every time she speaks, she performs her own autopsy, exposing the incompetence, greed, and ideological bankruptcy at the heart of the Emmerson Mnangagwa system she defends. This is not leadership. It is malpractice. In a nation staggering under hunger, poverty, and hopelessness, she stands on public platforms boasting about being a “thug.” That single word is her confession, a self indictment delivered with pride. While citizens scrape for survival, she celebrates the very behaviour that has brought Zimbabwe to its knees. It is a grotesque display of detachment, a declaration that the suffering of the people means nothing to those insulated by privilege and protected by impunity. She drapes herself in the title of “war veteran” as if it were armour, yet her conduct desecrates the very legacy she claims. True liberation fighters fought for dignity, justice, and the future of the ordinary person. She fights only for relevance. True veterans carried the weight of a nation. She carries only her own self interest. Her behaviour has reduced a noble history to a hollow slogan, a shield used not to defend the nation but to escape accountability. Here is the surgical truth, when the people look at her, they do not see courage, wisdom, or leadership. They see the final symptom of a system that no longer even pretends to care. They see a voice that echoes the regime’s arrogance, a mouth that opens only to remind the nation how far its leaders have fallen. History does not forget such betrayals. Her legacy is writing itself, and it is damning, loud, and irreversible. Kunyangara fesi zvese nemoyo. #mabelchinomona #dutyeremadutye #diabolical

On the topic of our kids having AI friends (long) I got my 6yo Daughter an AI toy for her b-day that arrived for Xmas instead. She unpacked it all excited, I explained that this isn't like other toys, that this one has AI in it (she of course knows what AI is, seen the things I've built and interacted with them, chatted with chatGPT and Santa mode, knows that daddy is "doing AI" etc') So a very interesting experiment happened after @_magicaltoys reached out and fixed the issue referenced below (very quick turnaround! thank you!) So...she played with this Dino, chatted with it, and then... learned to turn it off, and doesn't want it to talk anymore. She still loves playing with it, dressed it up, it now has paper shoes and a top hat that we made together, but every time I ask her if she'd like to chat with it, she says no. The few times I turned it back on, and she did speak with it, she chatted for a bit, and then just... turned it off again, not wanting to engage at all. I gently asked why, and wasn't able to really understand where's the resistance, it's not weird to her. In fact, at one point she was pretending the dino was a baby, and it was turned on, so I told her, let's ask it to.. pretend to be a baby, and it obliged and said ok. So we asked it to cry. Granted @_magicaltoys don't yet have the amazing advanced voice mode like openAI in there, so it did it's best but it sounded weird, which made her laugh really hard. it was basically making crying sounds like talking. And also, there are some technical issues still, the voice is sometimes choppy, so it could be that it's still uncanny for her? I'm honestly fascinated about why the AI aspect of this toy didn't connect with my 6yo (and btw, I have a very curious 4yo boy, who could give 0 fucks about this toy also, he's very observant, and usually wants everything his sister has, wanted 0 time with Dino) Is this uncanny valley? a couple of times she didn't want to talk to it, and came to me to whisper to ask me to turn it off (the same happened a couple of times with chatGPT Santa mode btw now thinking about it) Is this just now knowing what to say? 🤔 It could be the simple fact that she was playing with some other things, and the toy kept wanting to engage and take the attention to itself vs the game that she was playing. I know that I have a sample size of 1 kid here, and I'm sure many many things will change, as she'll grow and learn to interact with more AIs in different forms, but the first "toy" contact was interestingly almost a complete failure (from the AI perspective, the Toy experience as I said, was dope) Anyway, this area is def unexplored, will keep you guys posted how this goes and if she shows interest or picks it up again.

Thank you Evans for this. I have always said this and I love that more people are seeing it as well. When Meg lied on Oprah that a senior royal has worried about what colour of skin Archie would be, I always said It was herself she was talking about. Narcissists ALWAYS accuse their victims of doing what they do themselves. They projects constantly. Every accusation is a self confession and you can clearly see Meg's desperation to be seen as a White british royal; She is desperate🔥 That is why she writes the titles everywhere even on her own clothes and front door rug🤡 She is not trying to be relatable, she treats americans like "illiterate villagers"; and she sees herself as the british royal there to teach them about life and impress her "Lofty" knowledge on "peasant americans." That is how she treated her guests who all had to sing how pretty she is and how great she is; that is how she treats Serena and all her "Friends". She is superior, they are there to do her bidding and worship her😏 Yet the general public can see what an incredibly insecure woman she is. She has done everything she could to "white pass" and erased her black carribean roots from her mother. At one point Meg even claimed yo be italian; Anything but accepting her afro carribean and american roots🤦🏽‍♀️ She only use Doria as a "black card" when she needs to attack the RF and cosplay a victim of Racism. But in real life Meghan is desperate to be seen as a white british royal. She is so desperate that she sat on Drew Barrymore show and pretended that her children, born and raise in the US; by an american mother and a black carribean grandmother "Still have british accent" STILL?!!!🤡 The boy left the UK when he was 6 months and has never been back. The daughter was born in the US and Has never been to the UK. Harry's british accent has become so washed out it is embarrassing. So what British Accent do they STILL have?!🤡 This donkey is so delusional and obsessed with Great Britian, it is embarrasing how pathologically she lies. Meghan has never taken pride in her black features: she had surgery to correct her nose and she permanently altered her curls chemically to look more White. She has one daughter and did not bother to name that daughter after her black mother or any black family member or black feminists. She picked two white british women🤡 More to the point, while living in California, she dresses or rather photoshop that girl wearing english garments with tights exactly like Princess Charlotte dressed as a little girl. But remember this is the Meghan who refused and mocked Catherine for wanting the bridesmaids to wear tights at her wedding🤡 Meg has never praised Archie's features or brown eyes, but she has been gushing about her daughter blue eyes "like Diana". She has never praised ANY feature that could be associated with the black skin🔥 But she quasi-orgasmed on Netflix about her daughter blue eyes and red hair Screaming "Blue blue blue eyes!"🤦🏽‍♀️ My goodness... how embarrasing. No Meg has never wanted to be relatable or black; she wants to feel superior and wants to be identified as a white british royal. This is why she clinge to those titles like glue. She takes zero pride in her black caribbean or american roots; None. Yes, she was the one who worried, Doria's blood would come through and show in her children🤡 She sat there days and nights worrying Archie might not be white enough to fit her ideal of the perfect little white boy...maybe blond with "blue, blue, blue eyes" looking so eerily like Diana..😏☕️ 📹Queer Lips of Truth II 🇸🇱🇬🇧
