After watching SB19's vlogs for Wakas at Simula, bigla ko lang naalala nung sinabi ni Ms. Sarah G na nililigawan niya raw ang SB19 for a collab concert, pero hindi pa makapag-commit yung lima. Knowing how intentional SB19 is with everything they do, especially pagdating sa mga plano nila at sa story na gusto nilang ikuwento bawat era, feeling ko kaya hindi pa sila makapag-yes noon kahit sobrang idol din nila si SG is because nakalatag na ang roadmap nila. Sobrang packed na rin ng schedule nila with the world tour, international events, fan meetings, concerts, brand commitments, at solo projects. Kapag may concert sila, pinagpaplanuhan talaga nang mabuti, from the concept and setlist to the visuals, stage design, at overall production. (See their vlogs for Simula at Wakas kickoff and Wakas at Simula finale concert for reference) Kaya kung magkakaroon man sila ng collab concert with Sarah G, alam kong hindi rin nila gugustuhing isingit lang sa pagitan ng napakarami nilang commitments. Dream collab concert talaga 'yon. 😭 Knowing both Sarah Geronimo and SB19 Official, hindi lang basta concert ang makukuha natin, malamang once-in-a-lifetime experience talaga from the Ppop Kings and Queen.

My honest review of Buruguduy The Musical Nung una, akala ko parang mababaw na patawa lang. Medyo nakornihan pa nga ako nung simula eh. Naisip ko "ang labo naman nito...patawa lang sila ng patawa" (buti nalang nakakatawa talaga sila✌🏼😅) Siguro I was trying to look for something deeper, and was hoping that things would soon make sense...or at least magkaroong ng satisfying amount of substance in their world of absurdity (naks...world of absurdity) Sure, it was fun and funny...and how the songs were used (and how the actors performed them), were amazing, and the visual assault was spectacular. Given na yun eh. ...but I kept asking myself, yun na ba talaga yun? Isang nakakatawang trip na may simpleng closure sa dulo? Then looking back, I soon realized how dark and simple the narrative was. It was brilliant. Like a deep disturbing track disguised as a novelty song. Every single line and element pala were symbols and clues on what the story was all about...even the stupidest little things. Everything about it was precise and calculated. Lahat sinadya. Sobrang galing nung writer. Sobrang galing nila lahat. Napaka-fearless and unapologetic. Mga sira-ulo sila" 🤟🏼😳 sobrang in your face pala yung kwento. Sobrang dark and twisted, pero may subtle, at simple, and beautiful na silver lining.❤️ May seryosong matututunan, at makatotohanan na inspirasyon...na binalot sa isang makulit at magical na mundo. Basta...sobrang galing. ...and sobrang saya lang. Isang feel good na musical (na may dark twist all throughout) at siguradong lalabas kang naka-ngiti.❤️ Excited na ako manood ulit bukas...pero this time, I'll be looking out for more clues, hints, and easter eggs. ...or maybe, I'll just sit back, and simply enjoy the ride, without thinking too much. Cheers!!!

Mikha: “us girls, we’re so grateful to be recognized, the fact na namention rin nila yung privacy and all of that and that they offered a prayer to us, it was a touching moment…” Sheena: “meron talaga kaming goal. Meron kaming stand na talagang gusto namin, everywhere we go, we bring our Filipinism with us, the whole OPM scene with us, and at the same time, our culture. We're so proud of it, why would we hide it?” Aiah: “to be able to have a handshake with them parang sino ba kami.. and hearing them also talk about us and also acknowledge our hardwork, so it’s a good feeling and we’re so happy to be here.” Maloi: “i believe na dapat talagang ma-share ito to all the artist hindi lng OPM artist but also lahat ng mga creatives out there na walang means, walang kakayahan, walang outlet platform for it….” Ang dami pang kayang ibigay and ipakita out there globally, and sobrang laking bagay po nito samin.” Stacey: “I think now is the time, tayong mga Pinoy, yung pinoy talents, pinoy creativity, pinoy culture ay makilala din internationally… kung kaya ng ibang international artists, why not mga Filipino, kayang -kaya din natin makipagsabayan kaya now is the time na talang mag-go tayo sa global scene, dapat di tayo matakot, wag nating ikahiya kung sino tayo dahil lalaban ang mga pinoy.” credit: abscbnnews YouTube Channel

Even in a relatively smaller venue, SB19 proved exactly what we've always known: it's never about how big the stage is, it's about the heart, presence, and power they bring to it. Kahit stripped-down ang setup, they never let the audience feel like they're getting less. In fact, they always give more pa nga. Did you see how they improvised their intro and their adlibs sa ibang songs just to recreate that same epic, goosebump-inducing feeling from the SAW kickoff? Ganyan sila kagaling. Ganyan sila kagenerous sa pagpeperform. You can truly see how much they respect every stage they stand on and every audience they perform for. Alam nilang bawat show is special, kaya binubuhos talaga nila lahat, kahit saang venue pa yan. SB19 really knows how to make every space feel big because their presence is THAT massive. And honestly? With a more intimate venue, parang naka-VIP na silang lahat diyan. Eh di ba sumulpot pa nga si Pablo dun sa second level for their first song na What? Grabeh. Imagine that. Kaya huge kudos and heartfelt congratulations to our incredible SB19 boys and the entire 1Z Entertainment team for consistently delivering nothing but the best: the best shows, the best performances, and the best experiences for us A'TIN. Your passion, hard work, and love for your craft will never ever go unnoticed. 💙 SB19 FIRES UP TAIPEI SB19 Official #SB19 #SimulaAtWakasInTaiwan

BASTA BREADWINNER NA ATE, SELFLESS 🥹❤️ Looking back on her journey as the family’s breadwinner, Jeri Mae Tizon revisited one of the most fulfilling moments of supporting her younger brother. In a TikTok post, Tizon shared the touching surprise she prepared for her youngest brother: a second-hand cellphone she bought for him during the COVID-19 pandemic. “Grabe si Lord 🥹 kaka-umpisa ko lang halos mag VA dito, kaya mababa lang ang sahod plus pandemic pa at nahiwalay ako sa kanila ng ilang months… ‘Di ko alam pa’no ko naitawid ‘yon pero grabe, grabe si Lord kumilos. 🥹😭 Ang layo na, sobrang layo na,” she wrote in the caption. Tizon, 27, is the eldest of three siblings. She shared that she took on the responsibility of looking after her siblings after their parents separated, while their father rarely came home due to work. In 2019, she began working as a virtual assistant (VA). From then on, she took charge of their household bills, her siblings’ school allowances, and their daily expenses. During the height of the pandemic, she had to rent an apartment, and communication with her siblings came through their middle brother, AJ, who would visit her apartment to get money for household needs. He would also bring handwritten notes from their youngest sibling, Alecxis—sometimes along with mangoes picked from a tree at home. According to Tizon, one of the letters wrote, “Ate, naghuhugas ako palagi ng plato. Ate, may mangga, kay Kuya ako kumuha niyan (siya ang umakyat sa puno). Ate, nawala cellphone ko, sana mabilihan mo ako.” However, she would often tell AJ to inform Alecxis that she did not have enough money because she was paying rent. At the time, almost nothing was left from her salary after covering all their expenses. One day, she saw a photo of her youngest brother just watching their cousins play a mobile game. Tizon said that seeing her brother on the sidelines broke her heart, which pushed her to save money and eventually buy a second-hand cellphone for him. When the surprise finally came in June 2020, Tizon said the moment brought both of them to tears. For her, it was a deeply fulfilling moment, as she felt the genuine happiness of her younger brother. Looking back, Tizon admits those months were among the hardest moments of her life. Her income was limited, rent consumed most of it, and the pressure of supporting her siblings weighed heavily on her. Yet somehow, she endured. Today, Tizon shared that she continues to work as a VA, and their financial situation has significantly improved over the years. Hilary Hahn's performance of J.S. Bach's Partita No. 2 Sarabande, with its most subtle and profound details, highlights: 1. The perfect harmony between “Sound” and “Silence” — A symbol of reverence for the Divine The Sarabande has a very slow rhythm. When Hilary Hahn draws a note, she allows the sound to resonate fully and gradually fade into space before touching the next note. The silence between the notes in this video carries enormous weight. Listeners cherish this detail because it expresses the highest Humility and Reverence before the Creator. Hilary Hahn’s solo violin sound is pure, without any noise, standing alone in the silent space like the image of a pure soul kneeling in prayer inside an empty church. It is precisely that stillness where humans connect with the Divine. 2. The moral meaning of “Self-Mastery” through the technique of playing two strings simultaneously Playing chords (multiple strings sounding at the same time) on the violin with such smoothness at the extremely slow tempo of this ancient dance is a challenge that tests the limits of the human body. Many modern artists deliberately emphasize the pressure of the bow, creating “rustling” or jerky sounds to express their strong personality and inner conflicts. But Hilary Hahn does the opposite; she keeps her hands soft as silk yet precise like a metronome. The notes sound simultaneously, round and elegant, like the sound of a church organ. Keen listeners will see in this detail the Harmony and Order of Divine Law. The restraint of the ego, the maintenance of measured and disciplined sound, along with absolute obedience to J.S. Bach’s intention (a man who devoted his life to composing music to glorify God) is the expression of using Reason to master Instinct. True beauty lies in discipline, moderation, and respect for heritage, not in meaningless rebellion. 3. The purification of the soul (Cleansing) from the chaos of the age The Sarabande in D minor carries a profound sadness but is never sentimental. When listening to Hilary Hahn perform this piece, the listener feels serenity. The image of the artist standing firm with a dignified posture, using the strictest academic technique to serve pure music — they are not merely performing, but restoring the greatest inherited treasure of human art. 🎻Hilary Hahn • Sarabande from Bach Violin Partita No. 2 in D Minor, BWV 1004
