This is where the speaker of the house is weak. Clearly they are not non-partisan. The speaker should be demanding a question be answered. Not answered with a pre-written script on a completely different topic. If asked for a yes or no answer, they should give it. Or face a fine.

Media: May we ask you some unscripted questions, Mr. Poilievre? Pierre:

Hey Pierre. When you are PM, how about you change some rules to change this nonsense. Make it a requirement that the govt must answer the question directly and truthfully.

Ask Pierre Poilievre a question - oh wait, scrap that. He doesn't take questions.

Ask Pierre Poilievre a question and…oh wait, you can’t because he refuses to speak with the press or take unscripted questions.

156,000 jobs. Then smiles like it's a gotcha as he sits down. They have nothing but contempt for Canadians. Implement a fine system. Give an unrelated answer or speech to change the subject... BOOM, get fined. We are sick of our time being wasted.

What a clown. And it's totally fine within the Parliament procedures and the media. is there any reason left to vote?

Is this worth Canadian taxes? When university professor ask their student a question, they better answer it or get an F. How is it that these Liberal ministers are not reprimanded for their conduct unbecoming and unethical practices?

Why the heck do we have a speaker of the house? He should hold any member in contempt that refuses to answer a question instead of changing the subject. It's beyond ridiculous now. I love the way you make them squirm Pierre.

@Excellion When he threw off the headphones and mask it was a tall tale sign that he was extremely frustrated.
