If i remember correctly when Chase kept finishing second early in his career I vividly remember Kyle consoling him after a race. Grew to appreciate Kyle more after that. Now just wish we could have him out there racing so i could get pissed at him again 😂😢🙏.

I just think it’s wild that not even less then 48 hours after loosing the man y’all are thinking about some dumb ass trophy…. Like a man lost his life, a woman lost her son and another lost her husband and two kids lost their dad. And the most popular driver award is all you guys think about. Wow. Also if you think Kyle would want to win it like this y’all didn’t know Kyle at all. He wouldn’t want a sympathy vote trophy. He would want win fair and square.

@Leadfootgirl9 I think people have gone crazy. Yes, it’s very sad that Kyle died too soon, but you don’t change everything because of that. No one likes winning by default.
I think most off us can agree that until this week Kyle would have been considered in the conversation for one of the most competitive people on the planet. To him, winning an award via recusal would only come off as the best way to insult his competitive spirit.
Only a douche nozzle would ask him in this manner and guilt him into a response… literally 69,420 better questions you could ask on this moment.

This is a dumb question. Kyle is one of my favorite drivers but he was never a contender for “fan favorite”. No one should make Chase feel guilty for getting that honor himself instead of Kyle
