But it's also a problematic answer because if Ryan Nagel was there at 12:23 it means John O'Keefe was too, and he wasn't inside Karen Read's car which means he was inside Brian Albert's house. So she avoids answering the question at all cost, delays the inevitable, and eventually says "yes." But by that point how many jurors forgot what the question was? There's no way they're able to understand the importance of the answer - Yes.
