Most importantly, you need to have principles that deal with reality. Embrace reality, deal with it, and have those core principles. If everyone took the time to write down their principles and think about how to deal with specific situations, the world would operate a lot more effectively. I’ve been through those experiences and I wrote down my recipes. You can consider my recipes, or anyone else’s recipes, but at the end of the day, you must believe them and do what is good for you. Because if you don’t have principles, everything looks the same. I encourage you to have your own principles that you understand and believe in, wherever you get them. #Principles #PersonalGrowth #DecisionMaking

In order to be successful, you have to do five things. There’s a sequence to it. 1. Have (audacious) goals. 2. Identify and don't tolerate problems. 3. Diagnose the problems to get at their root causes. 4. Design a path to fix those things. 5. Push through to results. This is what I call looping. Go for your goals, identify your problems, get to the root cause, design a path, and push through. Life is basically just doing that over and over again. Christie: I think anyone that follows politics can tell there are no principles left in my party. Even for people who agree with some of the stuff the president is doing, if you are honest with yourself, you know it is not based on principle. He wakes up every morning and tries to figure out, what is the best thing for him to do in his self interest that day. But the real lack of principle is on display every day in the House and Senate. These people have become lemmings.
