lando on the boys trip to langkawi: "someone told me about it. originally i think it was me and carlos and maybe some of the others were going then it ended up just being more and more. but i stayed away, they went to do karting and have a bit of fun and i did my own thing. i kept to myself a little bit. honestly, it's two sides one is just good fun because they're all a good group of people and i enjoy to spend time with them and it's nice to be with people outside of racing and outside of work. but at the same time they're the last people i want to see when i have some days off 😁 so, it was a mix we had some nice dinners and play chess, we did different sports and stuff, we played padel and a bit of golf together. but at the same time, it was nice for me to do my own thing and do a bit of training and be alone for some days."

My brother was so proud of me and everything I accomplished over the years and he never hid it. thank you Jung Wooyoung… i saw this edit on tiktok and... i'm grateful that something pushed me to discover Ateez a year ago. sometimes i'm mad at myself for being so late with that. but still – better late than never… i never would have thought someone would come into my heart again, like bands/musicians did when i was a teenager. because how could that be possible? i'm already in my twenties, how could i ever love someone like that again? however, things turned out differently than i expected... from the moment my sister showed me Ateez, i said something like "i think Wooyoung is the coolest..." or "i like Wooyoung the most" and so it just stayed that way i didn't think that my stubborn mind and heart would be able to have a new idol – an idol who is from a completely different world than what i was used to… maybe this world has been with me for some time, and one person has been showing me all this time what i was missing, but entering it last year, when life was terribly fucked up… changed my thinking a bit (life maybe too) i love to love Wooyoung thank you Wooyoung for existing… for saving what was left of my life last year i know these are big words and maybe even a bit tacky... but that's how i feel Wooyoung seemed to show me that there was something more beyond the edge i saw. his voice, his words, his smile, his laugh, and the way his eyes sparkle… he somehow brings me back down to earth. he adds something to my life that's missing – maybe that's why i'm still here so i'll be grateful for that, no matter how it sounds. cheesy or tacky or weird- because maybe half the world knows this flower... but only this flower showed that all petals are beautiful //sorry for that rant…

I mean, do I think if I was healthy & we played them, would we win? Of course. I'm an NBA player. I'm a competitor. Anybody else in my situation would say the same thing. But what they did in the playoffs was special. I don't want to demean or put down what that was, cause that was crazy. The whole run from the Hawks series on was unbelievable. And it was mixed feelings, you know, because the Knicks are they our rival? Yes. But are those guys—like I like those guys and like they're friends? Yeah. At the same time, you know. “Like I usually watch a Finals celebration—like I have before in my life—I always got to watch cause that's a special thing and an emotional thing to watch guys win a championship and then celebrate with their families. I'm always like, ‘man, that's fire.’ But when the Knicks won I thought to myself, ‘I got to turn this sht off.’ Like I can't—I can't watch it. But, you know, I told myself because I was at—I was with wife & some friends and they were like ‘You want us to turn it off?’ And I was like ‘you know what? Leave it on. Like, let me watch it.’ And to see like Jalen celebrate with Ali, his wife, who—me & my wife are friends with them, and Ali & Jalen, really close. To see that, I was like, that's awesome to see. You know what I mean? Like, I was happy for him. To see Josh up there with his twins. That was cool to see. To see Karl up there with Jordyn. That was awesome to see cause these are all guys that I like. You know what I'm saying? So, it's a weird feeling cause are they our rivals? Yes. And people are going to hear this, this clip's going to go and they're going to be like ‘Man, the NBA's so soft. It's not what it used to be,’ yada yada. Sure. But like when I see them, when they see me on the court, it's smoke. They don't want—they—we hate each other when we're playing, but like after that, it's love. So it was interesting. It was like a weird feeling. I feel like I felt every emotion. I was angry. But I was also happy. I was sad that like I didn't get the opportunity to compete in that. I felt every emotion in that. So, it was like a weird—a weird thing—but happy for those guys, and I look forward to being back”

😥Francis Ngannou shares how tragic loss of his son changed his attitude towards life: “When I think about the last time I saw him, it was me leaving the apartment and going to the elevator. My brother was holding him, and he was crying, not wanting me to leave. But I just knew I was going to be back. I thought everything was going to be okay. Those are the moments you take for granted. When it happened, all of a sudden I started thinking, “Where was I even going?” Nothing mattered. The last time. I’m like, “I should’ve gone back. Maybe changed my flight. Stayed one more day, two more days.” You realize that so many things that feel important in the moment really aren’t. Maybe my voice is just a broken record, and guys are just tired, and guys might tend to do what they want to do." "But as a leader it doesn't matter. Being a leader is like the same thing as being a dad, you just gotta keep on being available and consistent with your words and your actions, over and over and over again and one day you hope that the message is going to go through. When I was 15, and my dad was telling me stuff, I didn't realize what he was talking about until I was like 21, 22, and then you go back and you're like 'oh, that's what he meant', but we don't have 7 years. We're halfway through the season. It's either now or never, so hopefully the next couple of games we can turn things around and if not, go home."

🎥| “I'm not going to lie, I'm... I'm through the hardest part now, because fucking hell, I was a bag of nerves, honestly. We're here now, we're here now, right. Right, I've got a few things I want to say, maybe I'll sit down, feels like one of them chats, don't it? Obviously, on a day like today, you know, I... I've been reflecting, I've been thinking about my whole career. This is an important night for me, it's an important night for us as a collective, you know. I can remember distinctly, the year before I got put in the band, I actually also auditioned on The X Factor, right, and I remember distinctly... I was 17, I remember distinctly coming back and I... I got a 'no', I wasn't going to get through, and I remember being in the car with my mom, we stopped off, grabbed a Subway, that was lovely, and I'm just bawling my eyes out, being like, 'I fucking really want this, I really, really want this.' And you know, at that age, it's... it's kind of difficult to deal with that kind of shit, definitely. So, but... but luckily, you know, I had a... a good, good support and good advice around me, and I... and I went again, and then luckily, I got put in the band. And I fucking cherished every single year we had in the band, that was incredible. And you know, then there was a time where that wasn't a thing anymore, whatever we called it, fucking hiatus, or whatever. And... so I was kind of at that same place again, I was like, 'I really fucking want this, I don't want to let this go, you know, I fucking love doing what I do.' But I couldn't, I couldn't really, maybe to my own detriment, I couldn't really see the finish line like that, or even see the light at the end of the tunnel like that, I was... I was kind of worried, I was kind of worried that that might be the end for me. And I want you guys to know, you know, I say a version of this every night, this is a longer form of it, but... I simply would not have the fucking confidence to get up and play a place like Madison Square Garden. But I feel really, really, really fucking proud of what we've created, and tonight is just... is the ultimate idea. So, I... I never really feel like I can quite articulate just how much you've done for me. But honestly... tonight is one of those moments, I want everyone to leave here tonight, right, if you've seen my first tour... I want everyone to leave here tonight to... to take that, you know. You... you're responsible. I guess I played a part too, we did it together, we did it together, right.
