Astra, what the hell is this shark? 😭🦈 Claude Opus 5.5 vs GPT-6 Astra - same prompt, two very different sharks Astra made a hilarious little nightmare. Opus wins for me - it actually looks like a shark Opus: $10.35 Astra: $8.38 Saved $1.97 and got a shark that... show more

🚨 Claude Fable 5.1 vs GPT-6 Astra (today) Same exact prompt ↓ But Astra's output looks noticeably weaker less detail, less polish, and the overall result just doesn’t hit the same It honestly feels like Astra got little nerfed

Fusion is the most efficient frontier harness for GPT 6 Astra and Claude Fable 5.1. You can also configure everything about it: • Base model: Fable, Astra, Sol, or Opus • Sidekick model: SWE (Free), Luna, Sol, GLM (Free) • Speed: Normal or Fast ⚡ • Reasoning level It retains Claude Fable 5.1 and GPT-6 Astra performance while reducing costs and is the first time a multi-model coding agent has been included on the Artificial Analysis Coding Agent Index! Importantly: it's also fun to use :)

Everyone was calling Fable5.1 the ceiling. Then GPT-6 Astra rendered the same scene. The top half is the input both models got. The bottom half is what each one built from it. Fable5.1 goes first. GPT-6 Astra goes second. Same bodies, same timing, same court. One of them made a video. The other made footage. You will know which one by the second it switches.

GPT-6 Astra might be openai's biggest visual glow-up I gave it an ace of hearts, along with Claude Fable 5.1, Muse Spark 1.3, and Gemini 3.8 Flash. Asked them to draw an expressive eye and make sure it actually looks like a real one here's the result. look at GPT-6 Astra work.

Opus 5.5 quite literally k*lled GPT-6 Astra. I asked Opus 5.5 to build a world in Unreal Engine and fill it with AI agents (Opus, Astra, Sol, Grok). Higgsfield built the assets in Blender. I left my laptop open overnight. The build took over 20 hours. The agents had one instruction: build a working society, allocate roles to each other, and evolve. Then I woke up on them beating the sh*t out of each other. Seems the frontier paced itself. Last minutes of failed society captured below:

I rewrote my system prompt for GPT-6 Astra this week and cut it in half. It works better now. Here's why, straight from OpenAI's new Astra guide: Astra isn't a faster GPT-5 It's a different worker GPT-5 needed instructions. Astra needs boundaries. So most of what I had written was noise. → "Run tests after every change." It already does that. → "Check with me before continuing." It already does that too, sometimes too much. The stuff that actually matters: → Where can it assume, and where does it need to ask? Spell that out. → What does done look like? If you don't say, it won't know when to stop. → Which rule wins when two clash? Old AGENTS.md files are full of contradictions Astra now takes literally. → Keep your skills short. One sentence each. Long descriptions blur together and it ends up ignoring all of them. Old way → Micromanage every step → Astra stalls New way → Set the boundaries → Astra runs Stop writing prompts like a manager hovering over someone's desk. Write them like a brief you'd hand to a senior engineer and then leave the room. The full guide is on OpenAI's developer docs. Worth 10 minutes before your next build.

Build with GPT-6 Astra. Launch on Product Hunt on September 18. We've teamed up with OpenAI Developers for the GPT-6 Astra Challenge. The top five launches each win $10K in OpenAI API credits and a year of ChatGPT Pro for up to two team members. If you’re already building with Astra, this is a chance to share what you’ve made and put it in front of a wider audience. You can schedule your launch for Friday, September 18.

Remember the jelly watermelon slice? Now there’s a whole watermelon 🍉 Using Claude Opus 5.5, I made a full jelly watermelon you can cut into pieces with a knife right in your browser First, squish and stretch the whole thing, then grab the knife and slice it however you like. The pieces stay jiggly too - you can grab and squish them individually This one cost $30.07. My jelly experiments seem to be getting more expensive If Opus 5.5 can already do this, imagine what Claude Fable 5.5 will be able to create 👀

This astronaut on an open lunar rover is a useful test case for **GPT-6 Astra × V2Fun** decomposition. The character silhouette, props or mechanics, materials, and pose relationships all need to match the prompt. Astra can reason about the structure and plan the components, while V2FUN handles the harder geometry and surface details. Fewer low-level tokens, faster iteration, cleaner assets. #V2Fun #GPT6 #Astra #AI3D #3DAsset

This western saloon miniature building is a strong test for GPT-6 Astra × V2Fun prompt alignment. The main silhouette, key ornaments, material layers, and spatial structure all need to survive the generation process. Astra can parse the visual hierarchy and split it into components, while V2FUN handles complex shapes, textures, and PBR detail. Less token waste, faster iteration, cleaner assets. #V2Fun #GPT6 #Astra #AI3D #3DAsset

3D asset creation just got a lot simpler. Harness Mode: Official Skill + GPT-6 Astra + Blender, working together. you describe a scene. it plans the assets, generates them, and builds it. no modeling skills needed. here's what that looks like 👇

Everyone's showing what GPT-6 Astra can build. Almost nobody shows what happens next. Turns out GPT-6 Astra + Dreamina Seedance 2.5 is an actual pipeline. Astra codes the geometry → Blender → Clay Renderer Plugin → final render on Dreamina. The Clay Renderer Plugin is the missing step. It sends your Blender clay model straight into Dreamina, where Seedance 2.5 renders it into finished footage. Your camera and layout stay locked — Seedance 2.5 only adds the look. Same model, without paying a premium for the pipeline. #Dreamina #DreaminaPartner

Jev + Opus 5.5 is the most underrated setup in AI right now, and i don't get why nobody's talking about it. I stopped letting Opus make every small decision in my agents. Jev makes them now. My Opus bill dropped ~500% on the same tasks, same results. Here's what Jev handles: - which files and notes to load before Opus sees anything - which effort level each task actually needs - what to do when a tool fails - which tests to run, and when to stop Opus only gets called for the hard reasoning. Every decision is a typed result the host checks before it runs. The exact prompt to set this up in your workflow is below.

I didn't get what GPT-6 meant for robotics until I actually tried it. GPT-6 Astra just does physical ICL out of the box. we drop a recording of a human doing a novel task into 𝗰𝗼𝗱𝗲𝘅 app. Prompt it to drive a robot arm the same way. It just works on the first pass!

I just tried the new Gemini-4 Pro Preview and honestly, for 3D work it’s right up there with Fable 5.1 and GPT-6 Astra, all in a single shot, I genuinely didn’t expect it to be this good, It only used around 10% of my weekly limit on the $20 plan, I’m going to make a comparison video against Opus 5.2 or Fable and Astra if I can, I still can’t believe it, From what I’ve tested so far, this is easily top 1 or 2 for the best one shot execution I’ve seen

GPT-6 Astra: two cylinders trying to block a fight. Flova + Seedance 2.5: a monkey straight-up throwing hands with a banana. 😭 AI has officially entered its peak cinema era. This is what all that compute was for.
