Imagi Studios doesn't exist anymore. They made the CG films for Astro Boy (as seen in the original post) and TMNT (2007). They did this pitch for a possible The Legend Of Zelda animated movie, but it was rejected.

Nah movies like this, Over The Hedge, Flush Away, Robots, Bee Movie, Monster House etc are those ones where it’s perfect with just one movie. No sequel, reboot, spin offs.. not a thing else.

wow, toby's death was way worse but tenma...surprisingly was way better father and person here, the incident didnt turn him into a monster.

I saw this movie as a high schooler and I had no idea how dark Astro Boy was with his little mickey mouse face. They could have made him a cyborg but they chose to kill a kid instead.

No it doesn't. Only the first 10 and last 10 minutes of that film felt like Astro boy. The middle part was like pro Obama bullshit that had nothing to do with the series.

Such a good movie actually bawled my eyes out when I first saw it, because it was after my dad died and he grew up on all the old animes, hearing the dad just grieving wanting to replace his son to stop the pain, fucking sucked as a kid overwhelmed.

Sadly, if they do, they’re gonna make it with some sort of transsexual/gay vibe, and ruin everything. They just can’t make a movie without having sexual descriptions at all. Life isn’t always about sexuality whether you’re gay, straight, or bi. A movie can just be a movie.
