Not this one, tho. We’re talking about the real one: Tetsuwan Atom!

BRO THIS MOVIE WAS SO FUCKING PEAK WHEN I FIRST SAW IT

Well I mean it has an entire anime series that lasted for generations

If you want to watch a more mature version with a more psychological theme, you should see Pluto.

I still forget that Nicolas Cage voices Tenma

Lowkey agree 🔥 Astro Boy deserves a comeback, that universe still has so much potential

Imagi Studios doesn't exist anymore. They made the CG films for Astro Boy (as seen in the original post) and TMNT (2007). They did this pitch for a possible The Legend Of Zelda animated movie, but it was rejected.

Nah movies like this, Over The Hedge, Flush Away, Robots, Bee Movie, Monster House etc are those ones where it’s perfect with just one movie. No sequel, reboot, spin offs.. not a thing else.

I love this movie

The Movies was alright. Don’t think it’s really sequel worthy. It freaked me out when I noticed the short science dude had no ears thought. lol

Now that I think how tf Toby gets desintegrated with clothes and everything but the hat still fully intact 😭🙏

Yeah the japanese anime version already got lot of movies and sequel you should try watch

Till now we never knew what really happened to Toby and how is he gone while his hat still remains?

“i have machine guns…. in my BUTT??”

Is that Nicolas cage as the father?

@supersairaptor It’s sad that this movie didn’t work out. I heard this was the Hail Mary for the studio and since this didn’t work, they had to shut down.

Isn’t that the same voice actor that plays Grug in “The Croods”?

wow, toby's death was way worse but tenma...surprisingly was way better father and person here, the incident didnt turn him into a monster.

I saw this movie as a high schooler and I had no idea how dark Astro Boy was with his little mickey mouse face. They could have made him a cyborg but they chose to kill a kid instead.

These were the type of movies that gave us sympathy growing up

I’m glad it didn’t get a sequel. It was perfect as it was

I prefer this version.

No it doesn't. Only the first 10 and last 10 minutes of that film felt like Astro boy. The middle part was like pro Obama bullshit that had nothing to do with the series.

Such a good movie actually bawled my eyes out when I first saw it, because it was after my dad died and he grew up on all the old animes, hearing the dad just grieving wanting to replace his son to stop the pain, fucking sucked as a kid overwhelmed.

Now that I think how tf Toby gets desintegrated with clothes and everything but the hat still fully intact 😭🙏

so his son bought discounted black suit and danced on streets of Manhattan?

I still don't understand how the everything from the boy to his cloth are gone but the hat and a strand of hair survives

terrible dad

Sadly, if they do, they’re gonna make it with some sort of transsexual/gay vibe, and ruin everything. They just can’t make a movie without having sexual descriptions at all. Life isn’t always about sexuality whether you’re gay, straight, or bi. A movie can just be a movie.

Can someone tell me the name of the song

@Webbyaccaics non sapevo avessero fatto uno spin-off di Pluto 😃

Growing up this was my favorite movie but then the watched it again recently the writing was awful

They son d¡ed in the movie, though.🫶

The boy told his dad, "it's fine, I don't even like that hat"
