At the count centre in Cork, its looking very respectable for me. #IrelandFirst

Respectable & Derek Blighe are not words one expects to find in the same sentence

I hope you get in. Ireland needs more people like you speaking on our behalf. I saw some of your old videos last night for the first time, where you accosted the Ukrainians in Cork claiming to be Irish, and claiming to have a right to Irish heritage. Some balls on you.Well done👏

Translation: I’m not going to get elected so I have to put a positive spin on things.

31,544 people were eligible to vote and 30,645 chose not to vote for you. You and your vile views have been utterly rejected by the people of Fermoy and Mitchelstown

You and respectable in yhe same sentence is a stretch.

5% of the vote? That’s 95% who did not vote for you. Think about that.

By ‘very respectable’ do you mean you’re failed to get elected?

I'm ahhhhh....down here....in the uhhhhh..What's it....count..land..and it's ehhhhh..really umm.....very very......Derek.....I'd say

Good luck Derek.

Derek, of course the vote is not complete until the last ballot paper is checked, but know this, there are a lot of people in this country that are both thankful and proud of you for the hard work you do on their behalf. I include myself when I say, we solute you Sir. 🇮🇪
