I like the optimism but sorry this is stupid comparison

to be fair: spacex: 2006 (falcon 1) isar. 2026 europe is about 20 years behind spacex

That optimism is rather sweet, but seriously comparing the two companies is just like a Year 1 pupil who has written his first word without any mistakes telling a Nobel Prize-winning author that he’d better watch out. Don't get me wrong. I am a great advocate of European innovation. But I believe that hubris is no substitute for facts.

So whole of Europe is finally achieving what a small U.S. private company achieved 20 years ago… congratulations!

That's one of the stupidest comparisons I've ever seen. Yes, I like that they made it. But the number of attempts compare to spacex is just dumb.

We live in a completely different space era, and Isar is operating in the old one. I bet if I wanted to invent a lightbulb, it wouldn’t take me thousands of failed attempts. I guess I’m more ambitious than Edison.

Competition is good, still SpaceX has much more experience... Don't be childish

From a european, stop coping, we are 20 years behind

Difference is that SpaceX did it in 2008.. 18 years ago.

Guys, please. Celebrate Isars success. Comparing with SpaceX and pretending to even be better - emberassing. SpaceX is a great example on how its done. Not competition.

as a european, where is the landing? lmao this shit is like 70 years behind.

Isar had access to 20 years newer tech and know how though

Spacex founded 2002 Isar 2018 Spacex first successful orbital launch 2008 Isar 2026. 2 years slower than spacex, but you keep playing stupid games and making stupid comparisons.

18 years too late.

Europe :)

The achievement is impressive, but the comparison is ridiculous.

Ambition on the level of 1960?

Great job by Isar, but getting to orbit on your 2nd or even 1st try isn't unprecedented. 🇺🇸 Rocket Lab: 2nd flight (would have reached orbit on the 1st if the FTS hadn't been activated due to a ground-based telemetry error) 🇺🇸 Blue Origin: 1st flight 🇮🇳 Skyroot: 1st flight

If not reusable you cant compare!

Spacex - 24 MARCH 2006 Isar - 30 MARCH 2025 Thats a whole 19 years , you gotta respect spacex did it without any other company to copy or learn from , NASA had shuttle by the time so you gotta respect SpaceX

Indian skyroot did it in the first attempt

Congratulations Europe. India @SkyrootA did this in the first attempt. ✨💫🫶

If you don't have access to space in the near future, your opportunities to grow dwindle.

everytime europe does something nice, you guys have to bring up a useless pointless comparison which makes it really hard to root for europe, seriously man

Does Isar reach orbit yet, or is this still suborbital progress?

Currently, they are so far behind it's insane. If this was a race, they'd be a few laps back.

Well space X did it first and it’s way more advanced

I’m European, and you should delete that one because that a bad if not terrible comparison. SpaceX literally invented a new way to build rockets that likely paved the way for Isar.

And SpaceX has 24 years of rocking and being breathtaking 🚀🚀🚀🚀✨♥️

Without undermining ISAR’s milestones (it is hughe), it is worth noting that PLD Space preceded them in Spain, having already written the book on it a few years ago.

European ambitio 🤣🤣🤣

European ambition never went away. Elites beat it into somnolescence daily.

2026 launches to date: Space X: 107, Success Rate 100% China: 60 27 nations of the EU combined: 6 Pathetic.

I say the same shit when I travel across the United States. I totally eclipsed those wagon trailblazers. 😂
