Blog 129 Out and About Wardrobe Makeover Tank’s Army has demanded for Frank to shop for new clothes as he continues to pound steps and shred pounds. Today, Pat and Joey from Out and About stepped up and led Frank into the scary world of fashion with alpha energy. After handling sales stuff in the morning, Frank and I huddled up with the Out & About crew and walked to Burlington. Highlights from the trip: ◦Joey and Frank interactions had me howling ◦Joey & Pat’s vernacular intersecting with Frank’s ◦Frank had full trust in Joey’s choices and fashion taste and it paid off ◦Joey and Pat trying on several dresses while Frank watched with fascination ◦The fashion show back in the office after we shopped, which nearly made gia (taylor’s version) and Kelly Keegs cry from wholesomeness. It was beautiful to see how happy & proud everyone is for Frank. The Out & About team has the golden footage and will release it all soon. Thanks, Diego. We worked walk 105 into the shopping trip both before and after our visit to the store. Frank has averaged 12,500 steps per day for the last week or so. His stamina improvement is extraordinary, especially considering our schedule. If he continues increasing his output and incrementally improving his diet, the results will continue to inspire and amaze. Thanks again to Joey, Pat, and Diego for an incredibly fun and educational experience. Frank looks spiffy in his new fits. You guys are the best and absolutely insane. BREAKING Now it’s official by Israeli foreign ministry: Foreign Minister Gideon Saar today (Tuesday) paid his first official diplomatic visit to Hargeisa, the capital of Somaliland, at the invitation of the President of Somaliland. The visit was conducted discreetly according to the instructions of security officials and can now be officially announced. End of an era. Nearly six years ago, trent.sol and I were sitting in Greg Fitzgerald 🦀 's basement ordering computer parts on Newegg to hand-build the first metal validators for Solana. Mainnet was still a ways away, hardware and network requirements were unknown, docs, tools and best practices were nonexistent. Even Testnet was barely more than a periodic bringup of a handful of cloud VMs. Our tiny but mighty early validator community were basically all on a first name basis with one another. A few months later, Trent and I, along with a couple other early Solana Labs employees, racked the resulting 7 machines in a data center in Denver. These were the first ever colocated nodes to serve Solana. In early 2020, we used these glowing green machines to help serve the genesis block and launch Solana Mainnet into the world. Today, the data center that houses them is shutting down. Trent and I went over this morning to tear out the rack to discover we were the last remaining tenants in a now otherwise abandoned facility, with apparently a single staff member left on hand. It was a little emotional for me to see these shut down, even though they haven't been active on the network for a very long time, having been repurposed for development work a while back. It's always humbling to reflect on how far Solana has come in so little time - taking down a handful of old, wonky hand-assembled boxes from the genesis days and considering today's huge global reach of the network, the devs, the products, and especially, all of you. So why am I looking out at the New York skyline instead on landing in Cape Town as I was meant to an hour ago 😃 😀 😄. Because United Airlines has struck again. Midair on our connection flight from Newark to Cape Town, 2 hours into the flight, captain announces an air conditioning issue and we must return to Newark. But "not to worry, we will have you back in the air in no time." I laughed because I knew what would come next. We would not be leaving US soil because the United SA route from Newark is notorious for this. 3 weeks ago they canceled Cape Town to DC with a rescheduled flight in FOUR DAYS! I have a sense of humour about these things and always keep calm. When we landed in Neward, I had to laugh again when I saw the energy bars and water set out on arrival at the gate. We were going nowhere. Their system is very efficient with hotel and meal vouchers - practice, I guess. And guess what? The next available flight was FOUR days later. 😃 I'm sorry to my client whose summit I can not moderate in Jozi and another, whose board retreat I cannot address in Muldersdrift. (Not mentioning company names because people get pressured for working with me and you know why.) 😃 I felt sorry for the couple coming to Capetown for Sanlam Marathon. They planned a holiday for their 35th anniversary and now arriving the day before the Marathon. The couple on honeymoon to the Kruger missing all their other tours. And a grandmother from Philadelphia going to see her new grandchild. Atleast her children bought her a new ticket on Delta. Anyway, I'm too old for NYC, heading back to my family in DC. They'll be thrilled! But will take their rescheduled flight and run the Sanlam Marathon as planned. See you later Kaapstad. 😘

They planned a holiday for their 35th anniversary and now arriving the day before the Marathon. The couple on honeymoon to the Kruger missing all their other tours. And a grandmother from Philadelphia going to see her new grandchild. Atleast her children bought her a new ticket on Delta. Anyway, I'm too old for NYC, heading back to my family in DC. They'll be thrilled! But will take their rescheduled flight and run the Sanlam Marathon as planned. See you later Kaapstad. 😘

I’m just coming online and I saw that a lot of drama has ensued. Some of us go offline to touch grass once in a while. Of course, we have a life outside social media, we don’t depend on Twitter alone. Anyways, let’s start with the video in the first frame. Disclaimer: A long read ahead. This is the Abike that was crying profusely like a baby and showing deep appreciation to Toyin Abraham at the premiere of Malaika, a movie she played lead character. She consistently thanked TA for considering her for the role and that it was a ‘dream come through’ for her. She even went as far as saying ‘I’ve never experienced this kind of BIG DEAL before’. It is that same movie you’re conveniently downplaying today and people are saying you were underpaid compared to how much you got paid to promote another movie. You were an ‘upcoming actor’ in 2023 who was merely a TikTok influencer and TA decided to give you an opportunity to explore more in the movie industry, has she done bad for extending such grace to you? Abike, that same movie put you in the spotlight and gave you more fame than you already had. You can’t deny that! Moving on, in the second frame, you made a proper unboxing video for FA’s movie and posted it on your platforms, knowing fully well that you were featured in another Cinema movie at the time. (Heard you even recommended it on your IG story lmao). That unboxing video was an indirect PR for ATCJ which sort of had an impact on TA’s movie, seeing as your brand has some TikTok influence. That’s how social media works. But some people said it was just an ‘unboxing video’, no big deal. Okay. I know we all want to be the judge and jury badly, but let’s also try to see things from different perspectives/angles. Now imagine you’re working for Access Bank and still advertising for First Bank, as how nau? Or you’re signed as a brand ambassador/influencer for Nike and you’re simultaneously promoting Adidas or Puma, please make it make sense? You mentioned TA’s fans have been bullying you ever since, but your fans on TikTok were also trolling her and even some of your friends insulted her in comment sections. If people ask you what exactly happened, you will say you‘re not ready to share your side of the story. But you were steady throwing subtle shades at her. If no be see finish, wetin wan cause that one? Idc about anything that has transpired, that’s between you two but girl, this woman freaking gave you her platform on a platter! Not once, not twice, not thrice. The least you could do was accord her that simple respect. See how you’ve successfully made her the villain in your story now.
