There is so much to unpack here… times are changing FAST… Trump says we will now have Dollar-backed stablecoins, which are cryptocurrencies pegged to the value of the U.S. dollar, typically at a 1:1 ratio, to maintain price stability. They are backed by reserves of U.S. dollars or dollar-equivalent assets (like Treasury bonds) held by the issuer. Stablecoins will replace SWIFT, and now be used by Consumers, vendors, businesses, and banks all over the world for lightening fast, ultra-low transactions. That’s why, if you look at their holdings of US Treasuries, they’ve actually gone down a bit over the years. If you look at all the new Treasuries we’ve issued over the years, the fact that the Chinese haven’t bought any of them is a big deal because they used to be a main buyer of these assets. Instead of buying more Treasuries, they’ve bought more gold. So if you look at US dollar debt as a percentage of all the reserves the Chinese own, Treasuries are a much smaller percentage of their total reserves than they once were, especially if you consider the appreciation of gold. I would guess the reason they’re not moving more dramatically is because they probably don’t want to cause a crash, the dollar to implode, the Treasury market to implode, because they are trying to sell and want to get a decent price. So I think they’re happy to slowly bleed it off to try to get that good price. They just have to worry about the impact on the dollar, because if they try to dump too many dollars at once, the dollar could go down, and especially if a lot of other countries see that and want to get out. There could be a run on the dollar. If all the holders decide they want to get out, they don’t want to be the last one holding the dollar, and so it becomes a rush, and we could be in a US dollar crisis relatively soon anyway… I think we’re heading for a real crisis in the US, and I think countries that are smart would be trying to get ahead of that by selling whatever they can, as quietly as they can, out of US dollars and any US dollar-denominated debt.’ -Peter Schiff on Going Underground

We must all recognize that only global strength can force Russia to make peace. And that is why we are working to involve as many countries as possible in the Peace Summit in Switzerland, as well as relevant communication. We must all recognize that Putin will attempt to thwart this effort and weaken Ukrainian positions through various manipulations and the power of his terrorist strikes. All of our positions must now be equally strong, whether on the battlefield, in diplomacy, or in the information sphere. For us to apply pressure and get closer to our goals, the occupiers must lose their ability to exert pressure and accomplish anything for themselves. Our strength, capabilities, weapons, and unity with partners must all work together. And they will.

And even the latest public announcements, now Russia finally found the international law and the United Nations Charter, and so on, but nobody actually taking it very seriously. Putin said that Western states were abandoning their moral values, that are rooted in Christianity, which would cause people to lose their human dignity and be the downfall of Western civilization. He also stated that the political correctness in these countries would lead to the legitimization of parties that promote the propaganda of pedophilia.

Today, I visited flood stricken areas in the Mpumalanga. Over 1500 households are recorded as affected by the disaster. Schools in the affected areas of Nkomazi and Bushbuckridge have been suspended. The government will be focusing on the repair and rehabilitation of damaged houses and infrastructure as well as assisting families and households affected by the disaster. Our thoughts and prayers go to all the families who have lost their loved ones.
