Most people who owned a diesel Volvo 850 had no idea what was under the bonnet. The engine was badged as the D5252T, a designation that sounds entirely Volvo. The engine cover says nothing to contradict that. The service history said Volvo. The dealership said Volvo. It was an Audi engine all along. A shortened version of the Ur Quattro boxy coupe that looks like nothing else. 2.1 L Turbocharged five-cylinder with 306 hp in the road-going version, which was huge for the time. Today I had my first demo drive in a Tesla. It was also my first time ever sitting in one. This was the first car I’ve ever sat in the driver’s seat of where I didn’t touch the steering wheel for over 20 miles. Before I even got to the car, the people who had demoed it before me were an older married couple who were absolutely euphoric. They thought it was so cool that the car could drive itself. The Tesla employee told me this happens all the time. People come back from demo drives and tell the next test driver that they’re about to have an amazing experience. Little did I know, I’d end up carrying on the torch to the next couple demoing it after me. There was a ton of construction where I demoed the car, and FSD handled the entire drive extremely well. And yes, it can go through a drive-thru and stop at each window. The only thing I had to do was tap the pedal because it wouldn’t leave on its own, but it was still wild seeing the AI stop perfectly at the second window and wait. There are a million things I could write about why a Tesla feels like a better car and how much more it offers compared to a regular car. But for now, I’ll stick to FSD. There were only two moments that made me a little uneasy. The first was pretty minor. The car slightly hesitated going up a driveway, but quickly made up its mind. The second was more noticeable. I didn’t realize the car was nagging me. Once I touched the steering wheel, nothing happened, so I pulled it right a little harder, then let go. After that, the car turned left and crossed a double yellow on a backroad. (and yes I know you can sue the volume knob) I’m not totally sure if it was trying to pull over or what it was doing. I wanted to see how it would handle the situation, but there were cars coming, so I took over and corrected it. One of the coolest moments was when I thought FSD was glitching because it came to a complete stop in the middle of a busy road. Then I looked around and realized why. On the right side, there was a bicyclist waiting at a yellow crosswalk. The cars behind me didn’t honk, and the Tesla stopping actually incentivized another car in the right lane to stop and let him pass. The car is almost too nice to pedestrians, because 99.999% of humans would’ve blown through that, especially with no flashing light. For 99.9% of the drive, the car navigated confidently and smoothly. It was a real “feel the AGI” moment. Please do not let the media, the general public, or anyone else convince you that this technology is just some kind of auto assist or glorified cruise control. This is undoubtedly getting extremely close to feeling superhuman. You still have to pay attention to the road, but after experiencing it myself, I’d be shocked if HW4 Teslas aren’t unsupervised within the next couple years. The car was extremely smooth. There was no harsh braking, and it even avoided something in the road that I didn’t see. Driving with FSD made me realize I probably wasn’t driving as well as I could be. Hopefully, eventually, everyone’s car can be as mindful as a Tesla. I’ve never seen a brand so far removed from the public’s sentiment. I’m so happy I ordered one.

My First Car 2022— A Lesson I’ll Never Forget I have always wanted to share this story. When I found this car, it had been abandoned. I was young, ambitious, and excited about the idea of owning my first car. I didn’t see a broken-down vehicle ,I saw an opportunity. I started putting my savings into repairing it, believing that one day I would finally drive my own car. But reality was very different. The car only made it onto the road about five times. The longest I could drive was about 3 kilometres before I had to stop and let it cool down because it would overheat. I even took it for painting. Unfortunately, I was cheated. Someone apparently used house paint, and whenever it rained, the paint would begin coming off. 😔 Nine months of my savings disappeared into that car. Sometimes when I remember how much time and money I put into it, I honestly feel like crying. The painful part is knowing that those nine months of savings could probably have bought me a much better car maybe even a brand-new one. But today, I choose to look at it differently. That car taught me something no classroom could teach me. When you are young, ambition can make you move faster than wisdom. You see the dream, but you don’t always see the cost. I made mistakes. I trusted the wrong people. I spent money I probably shouldn’t have spent. I learned the hard way. But I was trying. I was a young person trying to build something for myself. And perhaps that’s what makes this story emotional for me. When I look back at that young man in 2022, I don’t see a fool. I see someone who had a dream. The car failed me many times, but the experience didn’t. It taught me to be wiser. To ask more questions. To inspect before investing. To understand that sometimes the cheapest opportunity can become the most expensive lesson. That car may have only travelled a few kilometres on the road ,But it took me much further in life. I woke up with anger one day and drove the car to some petrol station uptodate I have never tried to call anyone or ask anything to anyone I just moved on

I was the first Korean in the world to take a ride in a Tesla Cybercab, and I’m incredibly proud of that. 🇰🇷 You can probably tell from these raw, unedited videos just how excited I was getting into it for the very first time. No steering wheel. No pedals. No driver. Just me getting into a Cybercab and trusting it to take me where I needed to go. Even now, it still feels surreal that this is actually live and operating in the real world. I’ve followed Tesla and believed in this future for 10+ years, so getting to experience it firsthand, being one of the select few to be invited to the launch event, and represent Korea while doing it… is something I’ll never forget. These are the raw moments from my very first ride. You can see it from my reactions… I was like a kid experiencing the future for the first time.

And once that world was there, making a teaser for it didn’t feel that hard anymore. It was really fun ✨

I went to the Nova Exhibit and saw new footage. I already knew it was religiously motivated, but I underestimated *how* religious it was. Guys, it’s so much worse than I thought. I was watching a ritual. Like the human sacrifice of some ancient tribe. Like Apocalypto. I thought human sacrifice religions were gone and in the past, but no. That’s exactly what Hamas is. Before they invaded, they hyped themselves up by chanting “There is no god but Allah, and Mohammed is his prophet” OVER AND OVER. It wasn’t just a few “Allahu Akbar’s”. It was incessant prayers and chanting the entire time. It was non-stop, like this was a holy day and they were at church.. They would scream “In the name of Allah” right before bombing a car. Don’t look away. You need to understand what is happening and what we are dealing with here. “In the name of Allah, we conquer.” Watch:

FSD’s anticipation is honestly scary good. When you first watch it, the Prius just looks like it’s making a normal lane change from two lanes over. But FSD was already preparing for something more. Only after you play it back with telemetry do you realize it starts slowing down before the intent is obvious. The Prius was about to cut all the way into our lane.

sir excuse me, i dont think jeeps are supposed to sound that scary this thing sounds less like an suv and more like somebody stuffed a pissed off v8 into a jeep and told it to behave the exhaust note alone is enough to make you forget you're looking at something built to crawl over rocks and judging by the way it's moving, this jeep clearly has no interest in behaving either some jeeps are built for the trails, this was built to terrorize the streets
