What a great moment for Randy Orton i am sure all his buddies in Evolution are happy for him especially HHH 😊

Truly one of the most underrated title changes and SummerSlam main events of the Ruthless Aggression era. No one thought Orton was winning that night. Little did we know where the Evolution storyline was going at that time

I believe this was done to take away Brock's record of youngest World Champion in WWE history

I don’t think he knew he was winning the belt

I remember the disbelief watching it live and not thinking for a second they’d switch the belt to Orton.

Love the end. Benoit tells Orton to shake his hand. Match is done but not the story.

Randy Orton was not ready for the World Title. He was made champion to break Brock Lesnars record as youngest champion since he was no longer with the WWE

I remember asking my cousin about this match before it happened. I didn’t believe Chris Benoit would lose to Randy Orton at Summerslam.

Randy Orton beating Chris Jericho was an awesome moment.

Only reason they did this was bc they had to anoint a new ‘youngest champion ever’ since Brock left the way he did earlier that year
