And this is the reason we have the black culture we see today. She is 100% ok with the n word until a “cracka” says it… then she loses all control.

Crazy how offended granny got. My first racist experience at 10 yrs old, S.E. Portland, Or 136th & Powell, 1981 was at the hands of an angry skinny as a rail black mom. What was my crime besides being white? Her son befriended me. I learned that afternoon that he was not allowed under any circumstances to play with any “white devils”. She screamed so loud and called me every filthy name in the book and even, as granny said here, MF’ing ugly cracka. She then proceeded to beat her son out side at the front door of their apartment. Traumatized her, son traumatized me and what made it even worse looking back on that awful afternoon, there were 4 older senior aged black men sitting on their back patio just sat and watched, didn’t say a word. Didn’t help me a bit, just watched. I have never forgotten that day, I firmly believe she robbed me of my future best friend, we clicked instantly, like long lost best friends. We even had the same BMX bikes. We got to ride together and practice jumps and man I was so happy. I had just moved to Portland, the big city from our tiny rural town and I finally made a friend. It was like it was meant to be and I firmly believe we’d still be best friends today had it not been for his mom’s racist hatred. I never seen him again. I was so upset, I had never heard such screaming and threats to my life from an adult. I stood there on my bike terrified to make a move and I watched her my new buddy crying as he got beaten, I was crying, it was awful. Moral of the story, granny, racist BS comes from all skin colors but I will say, my entire life, the racism I experienced and whitenessed has always been from black aimed at whites. That’s a fact.

So you assaulted someone over a word that you use daily and casually amongst yourselves but if a white person says it, you think you have the right to attack them for their freedom of speech? That's called Racist. My race can say something, but yours can't = racism

All the years you've been harboring that anger over a word and yet it's okay to call white people crackers and b****** and all the other nastiness you spewed. What a sad way to live your life.I bet you actually could have been a very nice person had you wanted but you chose anger

I guess we all got stories living in the apartments . I was blocked from going up stairs by a group of black kids I didn’t know race at that time but I learned I wasn’t safe there real quick. When my mom tried talking to their parents she was met with the same hateful comments.

Sadly all this did was “escalate the hate”! Both of them were in the wrong! She just made that white girl hate black people more! Thats why the Bible to says to “do good to your enemies” & that “a soft answer turns away wrath.” Being kind would have made her rethink her bias. JS

My uncle dropped out of highschool bc he was integrated. Seems racist but…he was part of the 50 white kids chosen to be bused to the black school. He had to fight every single day. He just dropped out and became a mechanic. He said it was insane at that school. My mom and her sibling grew up destitutly poor and my grandfather was abusing to everyone in the house. School was no longer the safe place for my uncle. 50 blacks kids were bused to the white school, that’s where my mom was. They rarely ever had problems at that school until integration. They fought each other and started up with the whites all the time. This is just what I was told, and this was an Oklahoma. I feel bad for my uncle eventually he got a job as head of security at a casino run by the Choctaw tribe. He said he thought he never made anybody more racist than a black. He said native Americans are the most racist people he’s ever fell across. He did work with them for 25 years and was able to retire so there’s that.

My dad was blonde/blue eyed (Hungary/Austria), my mom black. Ancestors from Benin. Hearing people call my mom, older siblings (different dad) the n word hurt. They were calling us all that. I’ve never used that word, never will. It’s degrading. Even if I am 1/2 black.

So it’s OK for your family to call you that, but you beat up a little girl because she called you that? That’s assault, including spitting in someone’s mouth. Very disgusting. That’s an awful lot of hate to harbor since 1948. She has a main streak with no forgiveness in her heart
