Autonomous tractor from Netherlands! 🇳🇱 Despite all the narrative, we are still building awesome companies in hardware space in Europe. Recently, I've posted about a Chinese autonomous tractors company. So today I wanted to show something that was created in the middle of Europe. This is a fully autonomous...

These are great. 🙌 I wonder about margins. We eliminated 99% of the manual work in commodity farming. In the US…one tractor-dude can seed 1000 acres corn a day, so replacing him has virtually no impact on product pricing, quantity, or even human employment. Thoughts?

I sure wish everybody would get a big fat clue. Again: in just a few short years, there'll be no need for automating any normally human-run machinery. Autonomous humanoid robots of proper height, weight and dexterity will soon be able to operate any normally human operated machine. And when one AI humanoid robot learns a task, they all learn it, simultaneously. You'll be able to rent them for just a few dollars per hour.....

Makes not much sense trying to make farming in Europe more efficient, as long as politicians allow non-European countries to dumb their cheap products into Europe. Products which are often made with pesticides which are in Europe already forbidden since decades...

Stimmt voll. Europa innoviert stark (AgXeed ist ein richtig gutes Beispiel), aber die Skalierung und Markteinführung dauert ewig wegen Bürokratie, Fragmentierung und vorsichtigem Kapital. Trotzdem: Starke Hardware! Mehr davon, aber bitte mit besseren Rahmenbedingungen. 🚜

As a retired engineer, here is my reaction to Clarkson Farm autonomous tractor. Consider: (Hectare of Work) / (XXX Cost) XXX Cost = Leased Equipment + Farmer Labor Hours Farmers are NOT eliminated. Efficiency increases orders-of-magnitude. Complete more work at scale.

Very cool, but won't farming in the future will likely be vertical farming and avoid the bulk of what happens there with the heavy equipment, land/soil, tons of water, etc...? Despite that, cool equipment.

Cool, except for the plough. Fitting the autonomous tractor with one of the most outdated implements is as ambivalent as Private Joker wearing a peace symbol and sporting “Born to kill” on his helmet at the same time in Kubrick’s Full Metal Jacket. Duality of innovation. #RegenAg

The narrative is overregulation and limited access to capital markets stifle growth. AgXeed is in a classic deep-tech hardware scaling phase (roughly 8 years old in 2026, with commercial traction since ~2022). They have real products (AgBots), revenue from deployments (110+ units in the field by 2025, targeting rapid growth), new higher-power models, and strong strategic minority investors (Claas and Amazone, major German ag machinery players, plus others). This puts them past the earliest “valley of death” (prototype to first sales) but squarely in the harder one: profitable manufacturing scale-up, global dealer/support expansion, regulatory/certification for autonomy, and sustained capital needs. Bottom line the struggle is real.

Elon Musk: Radical deregulation is necessary in Europe. If that means leaving the EU, it means leaving the EU. “Europe is overregulated. There are too many rules and regulations that make it very difficult to create a company and do too much to protect large companies at the expense of small to medium-sized companies. So, the net result is you have a bunch of very small companies in Europe and then it's small number of very large companies, but then not much in the middle. So, there needs to be a way to go from being a small company if you're making great products and services to be able to scale to ultimately become a big company. But you have effectively regulatory capture by the large corporations in Europe. They don't really want to reduce the regulatory burden and they like the fact that the regulations effectively protect their duopolies or monopolies in some cases. So really, I think it's up to the government to say no, we have to foster small companies and allow them to compete and reduce regulations because the regulatory situation in Europe is stifling and Brussels is amplifying that greatly. So you have both the local regulations, the country regulations and then you have the EU regulations. There's so many regulations in Europe, it makes it extremely difficult to start a company and be successful. So, I think radical deregulation is necessary in Europe. And if that means leaving the EU, it means leaving the EU.” From: Interview with Matteo Salvini, April 5, 2025

BREAKING: THE MOST IMPORTANT VIDEO TO WATCH IF YOU ARE INVESTED IN QUANTUM COMPUTING COMPANIES. $IONQ $RGTI $QBTS $QUBT The world's leading quantum computing researcher Scott Aaronson calls out the scams and snakeoilmen in the public quantum computing stock market. $IONQ $RGTI $QBTS $QUBT - "The most important thing that I can say in this whole interview, if I am taking to Retail investors is that unfortunately there are companies that I see that are really trying to solve the hardware problems, they might succeed, they might fail but they are really focused on solving the real problems and talking about it more or less honestly" - "and then there are companies that have focused on like marketing themselves to Retail investors and doing IPO's" i.e. the 4 public quantum computing companies IONQ, Rigetti, D-Wave and QUBT. - "and I see these 2 sets of companies being mostly disjoint from each other" - "So the companies that have focused on doing IPO's are actually not the ones that are in the lead on in the hardware, what they are in the lead on is selling a narrative to people...... - "convincing people this is already useful for solving problems in optimization and machine learning and finance, which sounds great to people, but all depends on you agreeing to not ask the question Q. well could a classical computer have done that just as well, could a classical computer actually have done that much faster and easier " "When people are talking about that the big use of a quantum computer is to solve optimization or machine learning problems or to turbo charge AI, or it can already do this, it's already delivering value to customers...." "these are the tells you are dealing with a SNAKEOIL SALESMAN" He calls out the "scammy" companies in this space! Remember the only 4 quantum pure play companies that have IPO'd are $IONQ $RGTI $QUBT $QBTS He also says earlier in the interview “I would say $IONQ has not demonstrated anything in trapped ion hardware close to what Quantinuum has demonstrated in the last year” YOU ARE BEING LIED TO! Another awesome robotics company raised funds in Europe. 🇪🇺 This time a company that is shipping robots that build! Monumental has raised $32M Series B led by Khosla Ventures, and its fleet of autonomous bricklaying robots has already built more than 100 real structures across Europe. Houses. A school. A community centre. A hotel. Canal walls. Founded by Salar al Khafaji al Khafaji and Sebastiaan Visser, the co-founders of data visualisation firm Silk, acquired by Palantir in 2016, this is a team that knows how to build and sell a company. The technology is serious: → Fleet of 100+ electric autonomous robots operating on live job sites today → Advanced sensors, computer vision and small cranes laying brick to millimetre precision → All driven by Atrium, their proprietary AI software platform → Nearly half of all homes built in the last three months alone, pace is compounding fast The business model is also worth taking a look at. Contractors don't buy the robots. They hire Monumental as an autonomous subcontractor and pay for finished wall. So in the end you only pay for the output. This is the same forward-deployed engineering model Palantir pioneered in software. Monumental brought it to physical robotics years before anyone else in the industry caught on. The backdrop makes this urgent. US construction is short 200,000-400,000 workers every month. Since 1945, US manufacturing productivity rose eightfold. Construction gained just 10%, and has actually declined since the 1960s. LET'S MAKE CONSTRUCTION BUSINESSES SEXY AGAIN! 🧱 ~~ ♻️ Join the weekly robotics newsletter, and never miss any news →

Robots that climb skyscrapers to clean and inspect them! 🧼 Verobotics has built autonomous robots that clean and scan building exteriors, allowing building owners to proactively maintain and upkeep their buildings faster, cheaper, and smarter. The problem is decades old. The only way to clean or inspect a building's exterior has been to lower a person from a BMU (Building Maintenance Unit) at the top of the building. BMUs are heavy, can be out of service, complicated to operate, and limit cleaning to a couple of times per year. Their robots are lightweight, portable, and need no equipment on the roof. One person can deploy multiple robots to the building's facades and let the robots do the rest. Once they're done, the building owner not only has a clean building but also a digital twin of the building exterior for documenting health and identifying issues before they become risks. Robot spots a crack? Noted! They're equipped with onboard cameras that scan the surface, detect window frames to crawl over, and ensure not a spot is missed. That means a consistent result and thorough inspection every time. Onboard sensors continuously detect motion, location, and the surface beneath and around it. The data feeds to a hub that analyzes the surface in real time, building datasets that become the backbone of a digital twin for predictive maintenance. Love seeing the specialized robots bringing value from day 0! :) ~~ ♻️ Join the weekly robotics newsletter, and never miss any news →

🚨KIM DOTCOM IS A LEGEND 🚨Watch: ENJOY 🚨TUCKER: How is the war in Ukraine resolved? What does that look like? 🚨KIM DOTCOM: On, it looks like now on the battlefield, you know. So Russia will win against Ukraine, and, I don't think there will be a settlement. No. 🚨TUCKER: Do you believe that NATO will continue to attack Russia? KIM DOTCOM: I think, the attacks on Russia will continue for many years. I don't see the US and, Europe giving up. So, I think what Russia has to prepare for is a bigger war. TUCKER: A bigger war with United... directly with the United States and Europe? KIM DOTCOM: With Europe, yeah. TUCKER: You think that this will evolve or devolve into a direct conflict between NATO and Russia where Russia is hitting Europe, Europe is hitting Russia? KIM DOTCOM: Yeah. I think so. TUCKER: And who wins? KIM DOTCOM: Russia, of course, because Europe has no, armies. You know, NATO is a toothless tiger. Yeah. TUCKER: Why would the Western powers, why would NATO want a war with Russia? I've never understood that. KIM DOTCOM: Their alternative is the US loses, and if the US loses, it will go down. You know, the West has invested a lot in, US. So all the debt is,owned by debtors. Europe is a big debtor to the United States. So if the US stock markets, for example, all the European companies that are go down, all the European companies that are listed in the US are also going down. So we, we are talking about a loss of maybe trillions, you know. It's not something that the West, can do. They want to, prevent the US from going under. TUCKER: I think, I understand that, and I'd like to see the US not go under also, but I think they're accelerating the destruction of the United States. This is having the opposite effect. If you wanted to wreck the US and bring the empire to its knees in the most humiliating, painful, expensive way, this is what you would do. KIM DOTCOM: Yeah, but, the debt has now reached levels that are unsustainable. So it's just a matter of time. You know, to run the US government costs 20 billion a day. It's impossible. TUCKER: It's impossible. That's right.

[261001 — #HONGJOONG’s Poplive] #홍중 Hongjoong talked about how the practice room building that KQ uses (the one that was shown in 9트쫑) isn’t only used by them. There are other companies sharing the building too. There might be people who don’t know this so he explained nicely. 🐿️: Ah and also, since 9트쫑 has started airing and all, I think there are some people who misunderstand this (that the whole building is their building). You see, the practice room we’re using right now isn’t actually our company building. There are companies that aren’t related to our company that also use this building together with us. So because this isn’t a space that belongs exclusively to us, I’m informing this to you guys. I think there are also some people who, without knowing that, get curious and then because they’re curious, they kinda come by to look around. There’s that kind of thing happening. I just wanted to mention that this is a place that isn’t used only by our company. I wanted to talk about that once so yeah, I hope you guys are all informed about it now. All of our floors are also being used by other companies, so that’s why. Well actually, everyone is really worried about this, but it’s not that I’m trying to make a fuss about it or anything like that. It’s just that, I think it’s an information that would be good for TINYs to know. These days, I feel like there are also quite a lot of people who don’t necessarily consider something we naturally think as obvious, to be obvious for them. So rather than getting angry about things like that every time, I just wanted to let you guys know about it like this. Something that we thought was obvious….. But of course, there might be people who don’t necessarily know that, so I wanted to mention it once. Yeah, that’s right~ So I hope you guys are informed about it/keep that in mind ^^

Elon Musk: A lot of the negativity stems from the axiomatic flaw that the economic pie is static, that it's a zero-sum game. “At my first company I didn't have any money, I just had $100,000 in student debt. That was a company in the very early days, of the Internet, called Zip2. But for all companies subsequently, I basically doubled down. I took the money from Zip2, invested it in X.com-PayPal, and then took the PayPal money, invested that in creating Tesla and SpaceX. It didn't feel right that I should ask investors to invest if I was not prepared to invest my own money. I think the whole other people's money thing is not right. You want to have skin in the game. As a result of that, I own a lot of shares in the company. And the better the company does, the more valuable the shares are. But that's because the pie has grown. And so you have to say what's at the root of a lot of the negativity is an axiomatic flaw. That the pie is static, that it's a zero-sum game, that if someone else succeeds, it's because they took more than their fair share of this fixed pie. But it's not a fixed pie. Obviously, the economic pie has grown considerably from what it was in the past. The output of goods and services, the productivity per person is dramatically greater than it has been in the past. So when you create a new company and you create new products and services, you're growing the amount of goods and services available to people. So you've not taken anything away from anyone. You've created something new and you've given people new products and services they didn't have before. We didn't use to have an iPhone, we didn't use to have computers. We didn't use to have cars or be able to fly in airplanes. We didn't use to have many of the life-saving medicines that we have today. These are all new things. The pie has grown tremendously.” From: Interview with Ben Shapiro, January 24, 2024
