disclosure: avatar creators r fully allowed to make their models private. More or less calling out ppl who don’t release models, ppl who never allow cloning of public avatars, or people who do sell avatars but require u to give them ur ID and say that u don’t ACTUALLY own it, etc

I didn’t get the joke at first, then I read the comments and now I do, Tbh, I’ve made a few avatars that are themed or “cosplay” avatars and have had someone ask if it’s public, And it’s made me consider making them public, but I’d wanna get the model creators permission first

A thing I don't like that some people do is if you want to use there public avatars you have to join there discord

im on both sides the out ragous amount of gate keeping makes the clone feature genunilly pointless because its never actually used but to be fair, i can completly understand it sometimes. espcially with slightly suggestive avatars cuz that gets wiped constantly in pubs

I am glad about the popularity and seeing people’s input on this video, thx! I will clear a few things up tho. When an avi creator makes a model they can have it PRIVATE ofc. When they ADVERTISE IT like how I’m doing IN THE VIDEO it’s just like confusin Like are u selling or..?

Another thing, if you have a PUBLIC avatar that you did not make and someone asks to clone it. Let em clone, it’s just a better interaction and gets rid of awkwardness (If you run into ppl who don’t want u to clone PUBLIC avatars, just use and search it)

Avatar creators who make models and sell them for you to OWN is great and I have great respect them! BUT RECENTLY there has been an influx of avatar creators who make models and sell you ACCESS to the avatar and not allowing you to own the model ITSELF, mostly furry models

In terms of model creators getting rid of their models or never releasing, that’s more of a personal gripe. Like of course ppl are allowed to take as long as they want to release models But when I see ppl work on stuff for months then just scrap it. It’s a sucky kinda feeling
