AWFUL: A Quebec physician says parents should be able to euthanize disabled newborn babies. He says parents “should have the opportunity” to have their newborn killed under Canada’s MAiD euthanasia regime. This is absolutely insane.

@BrickLayersSon Legal abortion teaches that human life has no inherent value so this advocacy for infanticide of disabled infants is just a result of that slippery slope. All humans must receive equal protection and equal justice under the law.

WHen bean counters determine if the required care can only extend the suffering for a newborn and determine your baby's life isn't worth that cost it won't be long before you are ineligible for your child to receive any care all other than assisted suicide and you are trapped in that state run system what will be left for the parents wo want to choose life no matter the cost to the system? That's the brutal reality of "outcome based care" and where you'll eventually be left with socialized medicine due to inevitable rationing.

How did humanity come to a place where someone could be able to have a public platform openly advocating for the murder of infant humans I know the answer. It just blows my mind. The January 2026 edition of First Things magazine published an article by Alexander Raikin called Practitioners of Infanticide. This has been going on for over 100 years. The first baby was killed in 1915. Mothers had no say, and many died of broken hearts.
