Chike says one of the biggest challenges while making NO REST FOR THE WICKED was learning to carry a single idea throughout an entire record. He also revealed Kendrick repeatedly pushed him outside his comfort zone by having him sing and develop melodies, something Chike had largely avoided throughout his career! “Dot was really on me about, ‘You got to master the melodies.
