Vocal sample at (1 minute 59 seconds).
Yeah that’s dope!! Really enjoy when producers sample other hip hop track vocals like this! Gang Starr you know my steez immediately jumps to mind - or take it personal with grand pubas vocals scratched in 🔥
Pete Rock & DJ Premier have sampled so much over the years from The Juice Crew Mc's especially Big Daddy Kane & Biz Markie. Makes sense since Pete & Premo come directly from the Marley Marl producer tree.
For real!!
Hip hop will one day regret not giving Az and Canibus much attention.
My favorite song by him
Classic track! 🔥
Dopest song on the album to me. And I love the Big Daddy Kane Rather Unique vocal sample from Just Rhymin' With Biz.
“I got this mastered, other rappers is crafted, weak and wicked, camouflaged as killers how the speak and kick it” Love that
One of my favorite albums all time OG 95 press

Hip Hop Quotable for a reason!

Doe or Die - yet another classic album for '95. AZ's lyrics on point, production was top notch and listening gave me vibes of Illmatic. Album still in heavy rotation 31 years later....
Always return to it!!
Crazy display of lyricism. One of my favorite joints ever
100% bro was immaculate bars!
