Employees are seen dumping grocery store packs of baby carrots into different bags to be sold at the Amish Market in Laurel, Maryland The exact location is the Dutch Country Farmer's Market. This may be because baby carrots are made by machine cutting full size carrots into smaller prices and then tumbling So an Amish wouldn’t naturally have baby carrots, but still this is incredibly dishonest because these are very clearly general store bought carrot bags

Wall Street Apes Baby carrots aren't what they seem. They're simply cut and shaped pieces of larger, broken carrots, often treated with a chlorine solution before being shipped to market.

Here’s why you should avoid eating baby carrots. Most people don’t realize this... but baby carrots aren’t real. In nature, there’s no such thing as a "baby carrot." The ones you see at the grocery store? They’re a total marketing trick.

70% of the carrot sales in America are baby carrots The majority of these baby carrots sold in America go through chlorine before being sold Lab testing shows that chlorine is still present when being sold to eat “Toxic chlorine byproducts like trihalomethanes are absorbed directly into the flesh — This is according to peer-reviewed research from Spain's University of Murcia.” The levels are considered safe by the FDA.

BS Alert! The so called farmer in this video is full of BULL. First off, you can see that the field is not planted with carrots, but what appears to be winter wheat. Then, of course carrots are harvested in the region he claims to be in at the latest in October. In Kansas, carrots are primarily harvested in late September through October for fall crops, which are planted in early August. Carrots are best harvested after the first frost, as this makes them sweeter.

"Instead of organic carrots having to be called organic carrots, maybe they could just be called carrots?" "And carrots grown with chemicals could be called chemical carrots?" "If that was on the supermarket packs, I wonder how our behaviour would change."
