Not one single person who turned up the protest against the Live Births Bill answered my question about why they were there and what they were protesting against. Even the co-founder of the SA Abortion Action Coalition refused to answer my question. I think it's because there is no rational explanation for being for third trimester abortion in a scenario where the bill allows babies to be delivered alive after 28 weeks and until birth. This group of protestors would have been forced to justify why they think a mother has a right to deliver a dead baby in the third trimester and for 99% of Australians that is an extremely unreasonable thing to be justifying.
