The first time I summited Mt.Kenya, I probably spent less than 10 minutes up here! It was cold, it was windy, and scary too… It was surreal and even after, it still felt unbelievable, especially because, that had been my first ever hike. Nowadays, I like to spend a lot of time at the summit (30mins-1hr) perhaps as a way of stamping my presence in the mountains. The hike doesn’t get easier, but it gets manageable! The body builds endurance and with that, the hike becomes more interesting! You stop focusing on the fatigue, and you pay more attention to the views and the marvels of this world. You soak and bask in the moment! I mean, after such an intense climb, it’s only fair that you do so. Here is to Victor, here is to life, here is to immortalizing you the best way I know how! 🥂

He told me it was something you could put games on and actually play, and I remember staring at it all day, wondering if something that magical could really be possible. I followed him to a computer academy, and that was the first time I had ever seen a computer in my life. As a reward for bringing me in, he even got a whole box of floppy disks. That was the moment I first stepped into a completely new world. And when I saw, just like in the video, games being copied onto a disk, inserted into a computer, and actually running… the shock I felt easily ranks in my top five moments of my life.

It was probably the first time I’d ever seen a Super Famicom game with a vocal opening, and it honestly felt groundbreaking back then. I also loved how the combat played out like an action game, and overall it was just a really fun experience. "After the loss in Ahmedabad I honestly felt like I didn’t want to play this Cricket anymore" Rohit Sharma spoke about what happened after the loss in the 2023 World Cup final in Ahmedabad.🗣️- "Everybody was extremely disappointed, and we just couldn’t believe what had happened. It was a very tough time for me personally because I had put everything into that World Cup not just two or three months before it, but ever since I took over the captaincy in 2022." My only goal was to win the World Cup, whether it was the T20 World Cup or the 2023 World Cup. So when it didn’t happen, I was completely devastated. There was no energy left in my body. It took me a couple of months to recover and bring myself back. I guess when you invest so much into something and don’t achieve the result, it’s a very natural reaction. That’s exactly what happened with me. But I also knew that life doesn’t end there. It was a big lesson for me how to deal with disappointment, reset, and start fresh. I knew that something else was coming the 2024 T20 World Cup in the USA and West Indies and I had to shift all my focus towards that. It’s very easy to say this now, but at that moment, it was extremely difficult. At one point, I honestly felt like I didn’t want to play this sport anymore because it had taken everything out of me, and I felt I had nothing left. It took some time, a lot of energy, and self-reflection to get back. I kept reminding myself that this is something I truly love, that it was right in front of me, and I couldn’t let it go so easily. Slowly, I found my way back putting in the effort, regaining the energy, and getting myself moving again on the field.

🦊 Hi everyone it’s Yeonjun! Today is finally the day I, having gone through the period as a trainee, officially become an artist as Yeonjun from TXT~ 🦊 It’s such a happy and meaningful day for me, I’ve been waiting for this moment for a really long time I started training and dancing when I was in my third year of middle school and since then I’ve been growing my dream of becoming a singer. I’ve just been running towards it and before I knew it, 5 years had passed ! And today, that dream finally came true. It’s a moment I’ve longed for so desperately, one I’ve really been waiting for 🦊 Earlier, while filming, I kept thinking back as I watched myself on camera, it made me remember all the times I trained, pushed myself, went through evaluations with the members, worked hard and the effort I put into improving.. all of it just flashed through my mind at once The memories all passed through my mind like frames in a film and in the middle of it, I felt a strong swell of emotions in my heart and in the end, I couldn’t hold it in and it just burst out It was such an emotional and happy day for me 🦊 The tears I’ve shed up until now were a mix of desperation and the desire to achieve my dream but today after such a long time, I finally shed tears of joy. It feels like such a memorable day for me, one I’ll remember for the rest of my life It’s been such a meaningful day and I hope I can keep seeing our fans for a long time I’ve really missed everyone so much, but now, thinking that we’ll be able to see each other often for a long time makes me so excited and happy 🦊 And I’m also really grateful, you’ve waited for us for so long and I hope we can repay you with good songs and performances Thank you, thank you so much!

I'm playing GTA V on a PS3 and its been such a fun experience. I remember when was a kid and playing this for the first time, I didn't give a damn about how BAD the framerate was during driving. I was constantly in awe by how realistic this game looked back then that the framerate wasn't something that was going to stop me from enjoying it. Don't get me wrong, this game is running on a PS3 that has 256mb of RAM and 256mb of VRAM which is some black magic itself and the fact that Rockstar Games managed to have such a massive open world game with that much traffic and NPCs running in real-time is a feat on its own.

John Cassavetes explaining why he made the movie: "'A Woman Under the Influence' (1974) was the first picture I’ve had anything to do with that wasn’t made out of plain, simple feeling, but rather out of a real desire to do something in my profession. It was extremely frightening for me not to come to work out of enthusiasm and instead put myself up as something of a craftsman. Earlier films such as 'Shadows' (1958) and 'Husbands' (1970) grew out of personal experiences reaching all the way back to my childhood days. They were expressions of my innermost feelings, and now that I’ve dealt with all that, I feel obligated to view life in other terms. I want to explore other areas of human and artistic experience. I made 'The Ki!!ing of a Chinese Bookie' (1976) as an intellectual experiment– not because I am in love with it. I enjoy a more intellectual and less emotionally demanding view than in my previous work. Being here on these steps feels spiritual to me. I’ve stared at the Salad Days cover since I learned of Minor Threat when I was 14. I think back to that first mixtape Jared Hein gave me in class sophomore year of highschool. Hearing Minor Threat on that tape for the first time opened a new door I didn’t even know existed. It pulled me into a world that felt raw, honest, and completely alive. The Salad Days cover. Those steps. It resonates with all of us who came up in this scene. It is more than an image. It is a feeling, a moment, a shared memory. This is my second time here. The first was over 20 years ago, and I can’t find that photo anywhere. So I had to take this one for myself. Just to reconnect. To bring myself back to the music and to that version of me that first felt it. Walking up to the Dischord Records house really does feel spiritual and like a time portal to when I was a teenager and all I cared about was going to shows and listening to records with my friends. Sitting on these steps, you can feel the history in a way that is hard to explain. One day I will meet Ian MacKaye. That would be a dream.
