👤 something i found fun was that i heard yeonjun did diss raps 🦊 that’s right, i dissed the company once 🦊 but actually…soobin must know this too but i was just “bighit’s legendary trainee” by name, they were never like “yeonjun, you’re doing really well” during evaluations 🐰 that’s right 🦊 so i think i was actually cursed at more 👤 ah like you’re good so keep doing more? 🦊 what was it they said? they said that i had i had no color of my own…that i was colorless and odorless so that triggered me and i think i wrote lyrics like “you say i’m colorless and odorless? i don’t care, i’m the beauty of blank space” “put my name in the debut team right now” 👤 but everyone evaluating you must’ve been from the company, right? 🦊 that’s right 🐰 everyone was evaluated for vocals and dancing but the rap section was kinda separate so there were about 2-3 more people that were rapping…they hadn’t even debuted yet so they had no haters yet they’d be shooting at these non-existent haters…but yeonjun hyung was the only one that did it towards the company in a straightforward way 🐰 the fact that he chose the right subject (for his lyrics) was really cool to me at the time 👤 that’s something you need a lot of confidence and courage to do, it’s something that’s hard to do 🐰 exactly exactly

I wrote the beat and stuff when I was a trainee. It was released after we debuted. I actually wrote the melody and the lyrics when I was in hospital, after my appendix burst. The song itself has a hopeful tone. I really love this song. I’m not saying it’s my absolute favourite. But I keep thinking about it.”

🐰 this was during the time we wrote our first self-composed song, the one that hasnt been released— back when we were still trainees 🐰 yeonjun hyung was working on it in room 3 on his laptop. around 2am, i went out to the convenience store and saw yeonjun hyung sleeping before i left. i came back with a sandwich for myself and some stuff like red bull 🐰 even though i only bought one can, i included yeonjun hyung in it 🐰 i told him ‘hyung, drink this and keep working’ 🐰 like an hour later, i went back… and the can was empty, but he was sleeping again

2012 SM trainee rules: 💚 i went to greet the SM senior trainees, like a rule, when you first entered the company, you have to sing in front of the seniors... they asked me “what did you enter the company with?” and i replied “i entered through singing...” and they were like “then sing~”, so scary right? i managed to overcome that~ at that time, seulgi unnie was there and joohyun unnie was there too. like an initiation ceremony in front of the other trainees (if you entered through singing, you have to sing, if you entered through dancing, you have to dance), i sang atlantis princess and thankfully the unnies were like “your voice is so pretty”, “you sing so well” and during the firdt dance training, i was asked to sing atlantis princess again by the teacher and for a period of time, i was called an “atlantis princess” 😆

sorry but there have been so many problematic idols in this industry, some who even literally went to jail, yet their voices were never edited out of group songs while they were under the same company. i have never in my life seen a kpop company try this hard to erase their own artist from his own 6-year history

What subway does to their food should be ILLEGAL. 🤮 This is disgusting. What do you mean the same chemicals used to make yoga mats and shoe soles are used in the bread? Don’t even get me started on the fact that their oven roasted chicken came back only containing 53.6% actual chicken DNA. The strips were even worse at 42.8%. Subway got lawsuit upset and sued the CBC for defamation, saying the testing had to have been flawed and their reputation was damaged… Yet, they dropped the lawsuit and never went to trial. 🤔 Follow: Based Jessica

#JISOO: shared that they have a Netflix documentary called Light Up the Sky that shows their early days, including some of their trainee evaluation videos, which she said were embarrassing to watch. She mentioned that they all laughed while watching Lisa’s audition tape together. The documentary follows their journey up to that point and was a really fun experience for them. It was also their first time filming a documentary, so having cameras follow them around and asking them to share their thoughts felt new. Since they hadn’t done much variety before, opening up like that made them a little hesitant about what to say.

JENNIE said that it's natural to anticipate a lot of miscommunications when a group of girls/women gets together. However, everything went smoothly and they hit it off right away when the four of them were placed in a group for assessments. JISOO said that she observed how the four of them knew exactly what roles to play right away, that they got along so well, and eventually becoming friends. They have so many members, but every single one of them was completely in sync. That only comes from an incredible amount of practice.
