Back When Madden had Late Hits 😳

Crazy thing is they would get injured off that late hit ... especially kickers

Sometimes you did it on purpose, and sometimes you pressed the button too many times 😂

I did it a lot on purpose 🤣 wish they’d bring this back

Especially with online play now, what’s more fun than rage quitting. Racking up the late hits instead 😂

I did this to my younger brother once. I think we were playing Madden 2001 on PS1. The play was over and the camera was on his player, but then you see me come flying from off-camera and take his player out. It was hysterical.

Worse than the EMTs committing homicide on the field

NEED to bring this back 🤣 like, gimme the option to turn it off BUT ALSO let me take a nameless 3rd string OLB & absolutely MURDER my division rival's QB at the cost of money (fines) and his availability all season (suspended) in Franchise if I want to 😈

Played NFL Blitz 2001 on the N64. It was always fun tackling players after the whistle blew and the commentary that came with it. "He becomes one with the field!" after a brutal tackle.😂

the late hits were the whole reason we played defense honestly the injury animations had no business being that brutal for kickers of all people
