40 years ago today in #Corrie, it was Stan's funeral. All alone, and unpacking his belongings, Hilda finally broke down and cried over his glasses. Jean Alexander's performance was absolutely heartbreaking, and this scene is one of the most moving scenes ever in TV history.

I keep seeing this clip pop up in my timeline so I gotta speak my truth and say this Texas Switch is Not Good. Eckhart and his stunt double are offscreen for approximately three years while the switch occurs, nullifying the effect. A good Texas Switch is all about timing. Behold:

8 years ago today the Raiders were 12-3 when the #1 QB in franchise history broke his leg. It was Donald Penn's only sack given up all year. A costly one.

This video tanks Billy Squier's musical career for a while after it was released - a long while - which is too bad because it's a banger song. I saw him in concert two or three times and it was a great show every time. Thing is, this video is just 42 years ahead of his time. And it's still better than all the music they're putting out today. And one more thing - men wore make up, had long hair and danced like this in the 80s - the younger kids haven't discovered anything new, but GenX did it better.

Battlestar Galactica (2003) started 20 years ago TODAY. And it all began with this opening scene. Somehow, the Cylons had a plan.

Another U.S. Citizen that was kept locked up in a detention center in San Francisco for months was released even though he showed the men that took him at the scene all his papers verifying he was a U.S. citizen. This crap has to stop. This is all about money! 🤬

NEWSIES was released 34 years ago today. Christian Bale performed all his own singing and dancing, long before his dramatic career shift, showing an early glimpse of his range in a full musical lead role.

I think this is their realest interview so far. No wonder it was released this late because It will put all the pieces of the puzzle (in our minds😂) together.. Her favorite scene was his best scene..His was hers. #kathden #KathrynBernardo #ALDENRichards See next 🔽

For Today: 37 Years Old Courtney Walsh foxed Graham Thorpe with pure genius... A late hand switch, feather-light grip, and that easy, angled run-up; it all masked the venom... The ball danced off his fingers like magic. Vintage Walsh: subtle, deceptive, timeless...

On this day 15 years ago Tyler, the Creator released his video for "Yonkers." This video became a key part of Tyler's career, as it defined him as one of the more edgy artists in rap, notably for the scene where he ate a cockroach🪲

andre braugher was the heart of b99. no one could switch up a scene like he could. such a genuine understanding of his character, and when he was given moments like this, he would just knock them out the park. rest in peace to the best. 🤍
