Finally had a chance to edit a photo and the video of 3511 (AZ-11) from yesterday morning’s takeoff. This one ended up being my favorite despite the rain picking up even more. It definitely made things more challenging as a photographer, but sometimes those conditions make for the most rewarding shots. Nothing beats those vapes and the afterburner with the dark sky. One day we’ll finally upgrade to mirrorless.

Satiate, don’t stuff. That’s one thing I had to get through my thick skull: Satiation should be the primary goal of every meal. I don't need to stuff myself silly to maximize my time between meals. I’m not in a competition and I’m not worried about when my next meal will be. I simply need to eat nutrient dense foods that best address the needs of my body and brain. A pound of 85% ground beef from ElkinsCattleCo, garlic powder, salt, some cheese, some homemade sour cream and a few onion middles leftover from bacon onion rings and I can set my cruise control for the next 16-18 hours.

This was my birthday splurge yesterday. It’s a one and done recipe and doesn’t trigger me to want to eat a whole bucketful. Butter Powder Espresso Mug Cake 6g carbs per serving 1 egg 4 tbs butter powder 1.5 tbs unsweetened cocoa 1 tsp espresso powder 1/2 tbs vanilla 2 tbs melted butter Sweetener of choice Air fry 8 minutes at 350 or bake in oven at 350 for 15-20 minutes. To make an easy cream cheese whipped cream, use an immersion blender on 1/4 cup cream, sweetener, vanilla and 2 tbs cream cheese or mascarpone.
