How do you play the uphill lie? There are actually a couple of ways you can do this. You can go with or against the slope! 1: With the slope (great for longer clubs as they’re generally shallower into contact) - Ball position, normal or even slightly further forward - ⁠ spine angle, approximately perpendicular to the slope - ⁠ The ball will go really high so club up 2: Against the slope (I like this better for shorter irons as the swing is steeper and we’re looking for solid contact just like Karol) - ball position further back - ⁠ Lean on front leg - ⁠ The through swing will probably be more of a punch style because of the slope Which one would you do? “Buckle up…or just putt it.” There’s been a lot of talk about grain this week at Pinehurst. Bermudagrass—which covers the fairways and now the greens at No. 2—grows very well in the hot and humid North Carolina summers, but it’s also a very, very grainy surface. The way the grass grows matters immensely. There are massive differences between into-the-grain lies and downgrain lies, and part of the challenge judging your lie and what shot it will allow you to play. I asked Tommy Fleetwood to demonstrate. Having fairway surrounding greens here, rather than thick and juicy rough you see often in professional events, gives players options. The shots are very, very difficult—particularly into-the-grain, where bottom control becomes paramount. If you catch it even a hair fat the club will dig into the Bermuda. That’s when you see the chili dips that go three feet, and that’s where you’re going to see guys go for the bump-and-run.. On downgrain lies, not nearly as common around the greens, these guys have their full arsenal of short-game shots at their disposal. High, low, spinny, all that jazz. The grass surrounding the greens is a bit longer than it was in 2014, when Martin Kaymer used putter from virtually everywhere en route to an 8-shot victory. The slightly longer grass means putts won’t roll as well. That’s why most guys have been practicing executing these bump-and-runs with hybrids, fairway woods—or, in Tiger Woods’ case, 4-irons. They want the ball to hop a little bit and avoid a momentum-killing bounce, particularly when a mishit shot could roll right back to your feet. I'm putting a lot of attention into getting a high quality transfer for the Face Proxy Mesh we're adding to the Fondant Custom Normals Blender addon. Even if the proxy has great Normals, it will not matter if the transfer is distorted. A basic world space Nearest Surface (aka Nearest Face Interpolated) transfer can get screwed up if there are gaps between the meshes. And if they are different shapes and poly counts, there will be! So the first big piece of the puzzle is getting a clean transfer. Before transferring Normals, a transfer space is made and a UV map is transferred from the proxy. Then any other data needed can be transferred in that UV space. As long as it is right, any other data will be clean! (Normals or anything else you might want.) And a UV map is easy to debug because you can put a grid texture on it. If the grid is evenly spaced, then distortion is minimal. This clip shows the differences in distortion between a basic World Space transfer and a better transfer space made by blending Sphere projection and a simple projection of the face forward onto the proxy (used down the center line.) Different faces will need slightly different configuration. Most of this is automatic, but the addon will have some simple controls to adjust it to different face shapes.

🎸 Leap Motion Finger Tracking on Guitar ✨chacha's tips: - Leap Motion needs a clear view of the wrist + front of the forearm to track stably. There is a SLANT GLITCH in #Madden27 that can absolutely FRY Man Coverage. It works best against backed-off Man, but can even cook Press Man if you have the right WR. The glitch gives your receiver a weird burst/stutter off the snap that can completely turn the DB around and create EASY separation. The biggest requirements: ✅ Your WR needs to be 6'0" or taller ✅ Faster WRs work better ✅ A QB with fast Hot Routes makes it MUCH easier to execute Here's how to trigger it: 1️⃣ Flip your formation OR audible into a different formation 2️⃣ Identify the LAST receiver to get set after everyone moves into position 3️⃣ Put that receiver on a Slant 4️⃣ Snap the ball IMMEDIATELY when he gets set If you time it correctly, the Slant gets a strange inside stutter that can force the Man defender into a terrible animation and create instant separation. And this isn't limited to one formation. You can use the same mechanic anywhere you can identify which receiver gets set LAST after a flip or audible. The most important part is the timing. This video is from 14 years ago. The founders of Matic had built an app that let you control Spotify with hand gestures. Raise your hand and the song pauses. Raise it again and it starts playing. It looks like a completely different product from what they're building today. But the interesting part is that it really isn't. Even back then, they were trying to remove the interface between humans and computers. You shouldn't need to click something. The computer should understand what you naturally do. Fast forward 14 years and Matic is the same idea taken much further. Now you can point at a spot on your floor and tell the robot to clean it. It understands where you're pointing and goes there. They went from "your computer should understand your hand" to "your robot should understand your intent." You can literally watch the thesis for Matic forming 14 years before the robot existed.
