Last week 4 people were shot while waiting in line to get into a North Baltimore seafood restaurant. This week they've hired armed security to patrol the storefront when they're open. The intersection, Greenmount and Venable Avenue, has been an open air drug market for years so if nothing else the folks dining at the restaurant won't have to make their way through junkies to get in to dine. Related note - possession of mags over 10 rounds in Maryland is legal but transporting them in to the state is not. This was an IQ test and he failed. Baltimore police officer Parks attempts to run over a local resident with his police vehicle for no apparent reason. People recording the video don't appear to speak intelligible english but that doesn't seem to be a reason to use deadly force. Officer Parks then proceeds through an intersection, comes back, and drives the police vehicle into an elderly woman's row home. A 74 year old man was beaten by at least 6 "teens" on July 7th in Baltimore and the police are looking for info on the criminals involved. One of them struck the man multiple times with an AR pistol (I thought those were illegal in Baltimore 🤡) which, of course, didn't have a brace on it. I used to live a couple miles at most from this 7 Eleven which is right near the city's zoo. The neighborhood where this happened is considered a "nicer" neighborhood for Baltimore which means it's now equivalent to a bad neighborhood there from 10 years ago. Of course, it's *virtually* impossible for law abiding citizens to legally carry firearms in Baltimore which always results in videos like this... "He was just getting home Thursday night when he said he was attacked by a group of young people. He had a gun in his face, a scuffle unfolded, and before he knew it, the young people kicked him, and he was knocked out. That’s what happened to 66-year-old Bernie in a neighborhood near Patterson Park in Baltimore City. His left eye is swollen, black and blue, and he has seven stiches near his eyebrow. Bernie didn’t want his last name shared publicly but recalled the horrific attack. In my mind, I knew what was coming next, so I started to run, and they started to chase me. As I was running, I was yelling ‘help, help I’m being robbed.’ He pulled the gun out and he stuck the gun in my face, and I said, ‘what do you want?’ He said, ‘I want everything’, Bernie said. He said there were five suspects who attacked him. Baltimore Police were able to track down and arrest two of them: Montaz Bailey, 18, and an unidentified 15-year-old male. A Delta businessman, Mr Emmanuel Mouka, has petitioned the Inspector General of police to investigate his security guard over fears of a conspiracy spanning from attacks in 2022 where similar incidents occurred which he reported to the police but was instead detained. Mr Mouka, who lives in Delta State, stated in the petition written by his solicitors, Hon.Peter Mrakpor SAN, the honorable former Attorney General of Delta State, that he installed security cameras to ensure the security of lives and properties within his premises in Otite, Sapele, Delta State. He added that he also employed a security personnel from a security company.
