![An old Air Force buddy of mine is an EMS worker [firefighter/EMT] in east Tennessee and he messaged me earlier today and his text was basically (paraphrasing): "saw the videos you've been sharing and that's nothing. Those videos are just from people who are in places with service. Wait until you see what's happened where there's no service" Unfortunately I think he's probably right. A FOIA request revealed that, in just one town, 3rd parties (credit card companies, cell phone companies, alphabet agencies, retailers, foreign governments, etc...) accessed camera data more than 500,000 times in a 9 week period. "Flock Safety could not guarantee that it's not sharing information with federal agencies." No shit. Several municipalities in CT are "turning off" their Flock cameras in response to what one FOIA request revealed. The problem - the towns don't control/own the cameras nor the data they collect so they can't turn them off. They can instruct their employees to not access them but Flock, a private company funded *almost exclusively* (outside of people like Marc Andreessen & his ilk) by taxpayer dollars, owns the devices and the data. A man reportedly stabbed a worker at Valley Fair Mall in Utah earlier today but was knocked out by fellow shoppers in short order before police arrived on scene 🥊 "The stabbing happened just before 3 p.m. at a kiosk inside the mall. Police said a male suspect approached the employee, and after a brief interaction, pulled out a knife and began stabbing the victim multiple times. Married mother of 3 (now former) Nashville police officer Lisa Vidrios has resigned following an internal investigation that determined she had been having sex with a fellow Nashville cop multiple times including inside the school where she worked as a school resource officer. They also had sex in Nashville police vehicles and recorded many of the encounters. According to one of the teachers interviewed during the investigation, school staff members heard the cops having sex inside Madison Middle School during school hours. Married former Monroe County FL deputy, Lamar Roman, worked security on a TV series (Bad Monkey) that was filmed in the Florida Keys. He took a fancy to one of the women in the show and used Flock/ALPR cameras & their AI database to locate her address and her vehicle as she was going down the road. If you go to the county's website (separate video) you can see the dash cam footage of him passing two vehicles in a double yellow at 70+ MPH to speed up and pull her over. One of the vehicles had to swerve off the road (seriously...) to avoid his cop car when he was speeding up to pull her over. He then pulled her over with no legal pretext. Bodycam footage then shows him saying "I told you I'd find you" and laughing during the illegal stop. He THEN added her vehicle to a "hot list" in the database that would alert him every time her car passed a privately owned surveillance camera in his county. After being arrested his criminal case was moved to a "diversionary" program where his charges will be dropped when/if he a completes court mandated program. He will never spend a day in prison for criminally stalking her nor for the BLATANT violation of her 4th & 14th Amendment rights. I hope she sues the county and bankrupts them for ever deciding to infringe on the county citizens rights like this. I hear the dog barking and look to see what he's barking at only to see a baby rabbit in the pool. So, I jump in the pool to try to grab it. After I go in the rabbit swims to the filtration system. I then try to grab it and it bites me (i don't blame it at all..) and I started recording because I thought it might devolve into an all out war between me and this diminutive rabbit 🐰 Once I finally fished it out with a basket to avoid getting bit yet again it wouldn't leave. Security footage was released today after it was announced that the two Gastonia police officers who shot and killed a man at a convenience store in January won’t face any criminal charges. Before getting into the details, as someone who has spent a lot of time in Gastonia, NC, this is the most "Gastonia" gas station conversation I've ever heard (audio up) 😎 -very good body positioning by the cop to conceal his 4 o'clock draw and a solid draw and first shot on target time 🤌🏽 -the cop took at least two shots on the threat while the threat was at a 90 degree angle; good example of why the 12-18'' penetration standard is the standard. Reportedly a radio transmission from one of the men who took 2x Forest Service employees hostage near Gumboot Lake in California ⬇️ The man on the radio is reportedly Joseph Charles Henrichsen (49) and he was arrested by FBI's HRT along with his son. Having spent a good bit of time around Mt. Shasta area where this supposedly happened - I can say it's pretty easy to disappear and there's no shortage of "illegal activity" in the area. The city of Cleveland has learned the same lesson that cities in Washington, NC, etc.... have all already learned. The data collected by Flocks cameras & AI software isn't secure. It's easily accessed by just about anyone and certainly every state level agency/threat and that's only accounting for present day, known threats. As the city of Hillsborough, NC stated on their website, "town leaders became concerned about language that could be interpreted as allowing Flock Safety to disclose data to any government entity or third party if the company had a “good faith belief” of a need to do so." What could go wrong 🤡 Imagine what foreign adversaries will do with this data when they want to target America/Americans. For the first time in American history, a federal circuit court of appeals ruled that an assault weapons ban is unconstitutional. Yesterday, the 3rd Circuit ruled New Jersey's "assault weapons" and standard capacity magazine bans are unconstitutional - breakdown below ⬇️ Can you legally buy normal magazines in New Jersey? Another dirty cop caught illegally misusing Flock cameras / AI tracking software to stalk a woman. Pasadena (Houston), Texas police sergeant Michael Palitz has resigned due to an ongoing investigation of his criminal activity. No charges have been filed as cops seem to be immune from prosecution related to systems like this. Every time this cop illegally searched the system he was committing a felony under federal law, 18 U.S.C. § 242. Based on this reporting; he committed MULTIPLE felonies and should be criminally tried for doing so.
