Banning care workers from overseas will have devastating consequences for our loved ones who desperately need care, for our care homes who are struggling to recruit the staff they need, and on our already overstretched hospitals.

This is the very same Government who are now saying their reforms to fix social care may not come into force for another NINE years! This is yet another appalling decision from a deeply unpopular government who are desperately scrabbling around for votes

Rubbish, they imported 450k,care worker visa in total for 120k jobs, they have 130k vacancies now, these people either didn’t take the jobs or took them then left. Care work visa is just door into U.K. no confused elderly person should be cared for by people who can’t speak fluent English.

My best mates mother is in a care home with dementia and her foreign carers leave her soaked in urine and place her in front of a tv all day with no real care. She’s currently trying to get her moved. That’s a devastating consequence.

We shouldn't be poaching care workers from the 3rd world. They also bring dependants which further increases pressure on our health service and infrastructure. Why do you hate White people? It's obvious that you do, or you wouldn't constantly advocate for their replacement.

How about paying British people fairly to work in the care sector instead of importing people to suppress wages.

Tim there’s a massive scam with care worker visas. They are being abused. Please investigate for yourself. We needed 130,000 care workers. 450,000 people came (workers plus their families) mostly from Africa. The “care worker” then worked in the system for a few months, then quit and went on benefits. Now we still need 130,000 care workers and we have an additional 450,000 people reliant on the taxpayer for their benefits. It has to stop.

Why not go and find the hundreds of thousands of immigrants that came here on care visas and aren’t working in the sector? They haven’t gone home I’m sure.

What about the devastating consequences to the countries they have left behind? For example, due to EU freedom of movement, Lithuania faced severe challenges from emigration to Britain, including population decline, labour shortages, and brain drain, which hindered demographic and economic stability. Or do you not care?
