Barry Bonds goes 4-for-4 vs Greg Maddux | Aug 31, 1993

roids or not, this guy is the best hitter in the MLB ever

That’s a nice game to show all his talents: multifaceted hitter, defender, arm, and speed and judgment on the bases.

It should be a criminal offense that he is not in the Baseball Hall of Fame.

lol 338 ba 38 bombs. It didn’t mention war or obs hahahaha. Analytics and the idiots the follow them lol. Barry didn’t have to swing straight up fall back and strike out a lot In Order to hit bombs. This new baseball and the nerds who follow it are funny to me.

🐐

I don’t care how much steroids he took. You can’t teach ball pitch recognition like that. And how does steroids help eye hand coordination? That motherfucker was just good at his craft.

Maddux missed several of those. The first hit Bonds pulled on the outside and got a quail. Not pretty. Bonds’ third hit was gorgeous tho. Gwynnesque.

Never knew his dad was the hitting and first base coach. Pretty cool

Pre big dude version.

I love Barry Bonds.

And Maddux got the W, pitched CG, 121 pitches. 2 ER! 🔥🔥

How the fuck is Barry bonds not in the hall of fame and guys like Craig biggio are….crazy @MLB

He was awesome before the roids

Greatest hitter in National League History. Greatest hitter since 1950. Period!!

you weren’t there. @JeffPassan

Bonds was just messing with him. Anything over the plate, I'm hitting it somewhere.

That was just Maddox setting Bonds up for the next time those two faced off.

@gggiants Dog

@grok Has any other player ever notched a 4-hit game against Maddux?

With an *

Greatest hitter I ever saw

Barry BJ, before juice.

🐐

Greatest of all time

Pre Steroids Bonds

Pops coaching 1st

Before he corrupted himself and the game he plays.

I thought bonds was only good cause of roids 🌚

The GOAT!

🐐Bahhhh

An amazing year that could have led to an amazing ending if the leave took more than one team from the division and a team from Atlanta wasn’t in the same division as SF

Joe West the 1B umpire

And Atlanta wins 8-2

The best hitter of all time. Hall of Fame him
