🚨SCORING RULES ALERT🚨 This is from today's Detroit Tigers at New York Mets game. Here, with Workman on second, Zach McKinstry hits a fly to left that lands, and Workman is thrown out 7-5 at third base. This was ruled a single, and the question has been asked as to why. First, this is the correct scoring, as this is a single. If this were a ground ball to short, and the runner is out 6-5 at third on a ball that would have otherwise been a hit, this would have been a fielder's choice, and the difference is in the wording on rule 9.05(b)(3), which says that you do not score a hit when a: (3) pitcher, the catcher or any infielder handles a batted ball and puts out a preceding runner who is attempting to advance one base or to return to his original base, or would have put out such runner with ordinary effort except for a fielding error. The Official Scorer shall charge the batter with a time at bat but no hit; The key is in the McKinstry play, the ball is handled by an outfielder, and not the pitcher, catcher, or any infielder. I want to go over last night’s doozy in San Francisco because there is A LOT of confusion about it. In a 6-6 tie between the visiting Los Angeles Angels and the home and batting SFGiants with Jesus Rodriguez on third, Luis Arraez on second, and Bymryce Eldridge on first, Rafael Devers hit what is normally a ground rule double. In-game, this was scored as a ground rule double and the final score was determined by the scorer to be 8-6. The issue is there is a rule for this exact situation, which is rule 9.06 (f) “(f) Subject to the provisions of Rule 9.06(g), when a batter ends a game with a safe hit that drives in as many runs as are necessary to put his team in the lead, the Official Scorer shall credit such batter with only as many bases on his hit as are advanced by the runner who scores the winning run, and then only if the batter runs out his hit for as many bases as are advanced by the runner who scores the winning run. Rule 9.06(f) Comment: The Official Scorer shall apply this rule even when the batter is theoretically entitled to more bases because of being awarded an “automatic” extra-base hit under various provisions of Rules 5.05 and 5.06(b)(4).” It’s the comment that is the key element. Even though this is normally an extra base hit for two bases, since the winning run was on third base, he only needed one base to score, so the batter, Devers, by rule can only be credited with one base. I believe support got involved very quickly, because within 10 minutes of me posting about this mistake, the score was adjusted to 7-6, and Devers was credited with a single. Now, Arraez never touched home anyway, but that doesn’t matter as even if he did, by rule, his run wouldn’t have mattered, as the score was 7-6 regardless. I have seen some folks saying the Los Angeles Angels appealed Arraez not touching home and that’s why the score was adjusted. I can confirm that this didn’t happen. Not a single Paul Thomas Anderson movie is the same Different subject matter, different genres, so you’d assume different audiences However the same people that went to see his last film, came to see One Battle After Another So the demographic isn't dependent on the subject matter The demographic is just, Paul Thomas Anderson fans The software industry has long told that you need to work on one thing, for the rest of your life That’s not how art works tho, is it? Building a personal knowledge base for my agents is increasingly where I spend my time these days. Like Andrej Karpathy, I also use Obsidian for my MD vaults. What's different in my approach is that I curate research papers on a daily basis and have actually tuned a Skill for months to find high-signal, relevant papers. I was reviewing and curating papers manually for some time, but now it's all automated as it has gotten so good at capturing what I consider the best of the best. There are so many papers these days, so this is a big deal. You all get to benefit from that with the papers I feature in my timeline and on DAIR.AI. The papers are indexed using tobi lutke qmd cli tool (all of it in markdown files along with useful metadata). So good for semantic search and surfacing insights, unlike anything out there. I am a visual person, so I then started to experiment with how to leverage this personal knowledge base of research papers inside my new interactive artifact generator (mcp tools inside my agent orchestrator system). The result is what you see in the clip. 100s of papers with all sorts of insights visualized. I keep track of research papers daily, so believe me when I tell you that this system is absolutely insane at surfacing insights. This is the result of months of tinkering on how to index research and leverage agent automations for wikification and robust documentation. But this is just the beginning. The visual artifact (which is interactive too) can be changed dynamically as I please. I can prompt my agent to throw any data at it. I can add different views to the data. Different interactions. I feel like this is the most personalized research system I have ever built and used, and it's not even close. The knowledge that the agents are able to surface from this basic setup is already extremely useful as I experiment with new agentic engineering concepts. I feel like this knowledge layer and the higher-level ones I am working on will allow me to maximize other automation tools like autoresearch. The research is only as good as the research questions. And the research questions are only as good as the insights the agents have access to. Where I am spending time now is on how to make this more actionable. I am obsessed about the search problem here. The automations, autoresearch, ralph research loop (I built one months ago) are easier to build but are only as good as what you feed them. The thing I help hitters with the most.. (1 good way to train it👇🏼) They start on time but never actually get loaded to GO. They think they’re ready. They’re not. So they start earlier next time. Same problem. —— This is a conversation I have with almost every hitter. When is the right time for you? - Based on your load style - Based on how long your load takes - Based on the pitcher’s velo, windup, or slide step —— If that’s you, try a “loaded at release” type load. Bobby Witt. Judge. Get your hip and elbow loaded early. Then stride with it ready to fire. “The pitcher is up there for 20 seconds telling you to get ready. Shame on you if you’re not ready to swing.” ____ If I have you in the cage, what I’ll do is have you get into a no stride position, get ready to swing and I stand there for 1-4 seconds… Holding my hand out over the plate ready to snap my fingers. When I snap, you swing. Do that 4-5x. You get the quickness, readiness feeling. Then we go back to stride with moving ball and you’re trying to time up that same GO move with the ball With your foot up in the air and the GO will make the foot go down. Not foot down then swing. That typically kills quickness. This works 95% of the time I’d say! —— > Send this to a hitter who needs it > Save it for when you need it.

It’s been a year since the company I helped start shut down. It was one of those ideas that felt truly “net-positive” for the world, and truly helped people on a personal level. So, over this last year I worked on 2 things — searching for an idea that feels net-positive and something people could connect with on a deep, personal level. That led me to build + launch 2 apps at the beginning of the year: 1. Lyrics: Daily Music Widget - an app that shows you song lyrics from your favorite artists, right on your home screen 2. one year - another app that shows how many days of growth you’ve had in a year Both of these apps had their ups and downs, but they made me realize some pretty cool things: - I want my apps to feel great to use - I want me apps to do one thing really well - I want my apps to feel like a human made them - and, I want my apps to always be made with other people So, two months ago I took those concepts, went to visit in SF, and started on an idea that I truly felt could change the way people live their daily lives. And, it’s launching today. This is Find Your Faith, an iPhone app that helps you discover a spiritual path that resonates with you, or helps you dive deeper into a faith you already practice. We started this as a way to help us with our own spiritual journeys. We wanted to explore different faiths in a way that was authentic to us. The beauty about spirituality is there is no deadline on when you should “figure out what you believe in” lol. It’s really something to check in on during the different seasons of your life. And, there isn’t just one way to do it. Some people may enjoy reading religious text, or others may prefer being in the presence of something greater than them. At the end of the day, these are just ways to give yourself the space to explore really tough questions and concepts. That’s what Find Your Faith (or fyf) does — helps you understand where you are on your journey, no matter where you may be, and gives you the space to sit in these questions every day. This is just the beginning for us, and hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed building it :).

next, here is how to animate the video once you generated the base image of your ai model, attach the image of your model and the product image in your ai tool and prompt, "she is holding this product" now to animate this scene, use such a simple prompt; "the girl is speaking in her beautiful voice; "this is the most powerful drink in the world... drink it once, and your whole hair is gone" no background music, no sound effects." adding "no background music" is necessory part when you're prompting to VEO 3 or Kling 2.6 and for the drinking scene, i also gave it a very simple prompt; "the girl is drinking, handheld camera shaking. No background music," then i asked nb pro to remove her hair, and then turn it into the using that simple prompt method. note; simple prompts works better than complicated one when it comes to animating your video that's it, if you need any help setting up your ai influencer to promote your product/app or service just DM me here on 𝕏 or comment "want" i'll dm you myself if you know how to make viral content + setup such a beautiful ai model 2026 will be yours, cheers

This is the person behind the "Daily Monogatari" account... 💀 It really disgusts me to have such a horrible person like this in the Monogatari fandom, bruh. I kindly ask the good and respectful people who follow me to please stop giving this moron any attention. He’s nothing but a stain on both the Daily accounts and the Monogatari community itself. In fact, there are some really cool and important people in our community who have been hurt by his nasty and gratuitous insults against trans people. I apologize for breaking the gimmick and for bringing such a sensitive topic here, and I really hope it never happens again, but I thought it was important to use my reach to expose what an asshole this guy is, although many of you may already be aware. And for those who agree with his stupid opinions—which I hope is just a small minority—you’re free to be idiots and there's nothing I can do about it, but do us both a favor and don’t waste your time writing shit in the comments.
