In the longer context, the fat guy just accused Ron Paul of wanting all Americans to get drugged out because Ron Paul was arguing that the federal constitution did not grant the United States the power to prohibit drugs.

The problem is that the gov (with our tax dollars) is being used to push an unhealthy food pyramid on our kids that is the very cause of chronic illness in this country. They also provide subsidies for farmers that are spraying carcinogenic chemicals on crops. This needs to end.

It’s true, however the government could help by shining light on what these chemicals are in food and the harm they cause. If we demand change in the food we buy, the market will likely correct itself if we boycott their products for healthier choices.
