I know following Nick Saban as head coach is difficult, but it’s not about his aura. It’s about his actual production. When he got to LSU he wasn’t the Nick Saban we know now. He was a former Michigan State head coach who took a job in a great place that didn’t have great players. He turned that program into the best job in the world. He did the same for Bama. I think it's one of the reasons we work so hard and practice as hard as we do to have chances at winning golf tournaments. It's just not very often we have a chance to win a major on a Father's Day. I think just the weight of that and knowing what that memory could have been like, it would have been really special."

It has been now confirmed that Greg Biffle has died in a plane crash along with his family earlier today. I only met him briefly as we were getting coffee at an airfield that was set up for Hurricane Helene relief operations about a year ago now. He was out there helping those in need, in person, with his own aircraft. We spoke about what we had been seeing on the ground during relief operations and went our own way. He was completely down to earth and if you didn't know who he was would have just assumed he was like all the other volunteers that were there that day and not a famous wealthy man which says a lot about who he really was. We lost a great American today. RIP to Greg and his family 🇺🇸 #GregBiffle
