It has been now confirmed that Greg Biffle has died in a plane crash along with his family earlier today. I only met him briefly as we were getting coffee at an airfield that was set up for Hurricane Helene relief operations about a year ago now. He was... out there helping those in need, in person, with his own aircraft. We spoke about what we had been seeing on the ground during relief operations and went our own way. He was completely down to earth and if you didn't know who he was would have just assumed he was like all the other volunteers that were there that day and not a famous wealthy man which says a lot about who he really was. We lost a great American today. RIP to Greg and his family 🇺🇸 #GregBiffleshow more

President Donald Trump expressed his condolences to the family of NASCAR great Greg Biffle during his rally tonight in Rocky Mount, NC, following yesterday's plane crash that took the life of Biffle & his family. "I met him twice, he was just a great young man. And what a tragedy that is with his whole family. So I just want to pay our condolences, our love. "I'll tell you, North Carolina will never forget them. He and his family were incredible people." Trump and Biffle most notably met on the grid of this year's Daytona 500, where Biffle took a selfie with the President. In the last year of his life, Biffle had been hailed as a national hero for going above and beyond flying rescue/relief missions and assisting those affected by Hurricane Helene in Western North Carolina.

JUST IN: President Biden says he had a short call with Trump after the assass*nation attempt at his rally, says there is no information about the motive of the suspect. Gee, I wonder what the motive could be. "Last night I spoke with Donald Trump. I'm sincerely grateful that he's doing well and recovering and we had a short but good conversation." "Jill and I are keeping him and his family in our prayers. We also extend our deepest condolences to the family of the victim who was k*lled." "He was a father. He was protecting his family from the bullets that were being fired, and he lost his life."

The ending of Primetime was atrocious. The way they portrayed the sting that basically ended To Catch a Predator was something out of a twisted fever dream. Chris Hansen sets the record straight on what actually happened when a Texas assistant DA took his own life during an arrest: "Here are the facts of the case, Glenn. When we were conducting an investigation with the Murphy Police Department in Murphy, Texas, there was a man who was an assistant district attorney, Bill Conradt, who got caught chatting with decoys posing as two different 13-year-old boys... They decided that they were going to arrest him on a Sunday at his home. We knew this, obviously. We followed along and were watching with our cameras from the street. They went in to arrest him. He had his laptop, apparently, according to the police and a subsequent investigation by the Texas Rangers, and he had tried to extract the hard drive. He looked at them, said, 'I'm not going to hurt you guys,' something to that effect, and pulled out a gun and sadly took his own life. Later, there was an investigation by the Texas Rangers, which revealed that there were images of child pornography found on the hard drive of his computer. As an assistant district attorney, he would have known that each one of those images could have put him in prison for 10 years. Now, he made that decision... I feel terrible for his family. Obviously, it would be better had he had his day in court and hired a lawyer for a vigorous defense, as everybody deserves in this country. But that's not what he chose to do. There was no attempt to cover this up... We reported it as it happened, factually."

General Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s speech at Cedric’s sending off. “Cedric was a loyal friend. You could count on him in any situation. When I heard that he got heart complications when he was in Rwanda, I was confident that he was going to pull through.” “Interestingly, he came to see me a few days before he went to Kigali…and we had a long chat with him….we talked about life, we talked about family, he told me his plans for the future, and we left it at that. I didn’t know that the man had come to say bye bye…” “Even though we’ve lost our brother, we thank almighty God for his life. As I said, Cedric has lived a good life. He was a good friend, he was a good father, he was already making plans to contribute to the development of this country” #RIPCedric

Tucker Carlson shares a transformational lesson he learned from Charlie Kirk about hate. The look on Tucker’s face spoke volumes. Not a single word was wasted. “Charlie was really saying… the only change that matters when we repent of our sins. We, ME, a recognition that the real problem is me and how fallen I am. “And that was the reason that Charlie was fearless at all times, truly fearless to his last moment. He was unafraid, he was not defensive, and there was no hate in his heart. I know that because I’ve got a little hate compartment in my heart. “And I would often express that to Charlie about various people. And he would always say, always say, ‘That’s a sad person, that’s a broken person. That’s a person who needs help. That’s a person who needs Jesus.’ He said that in private because he meant it.”

Kyle Shanahan on Curtis Robinson: “He's really worked to get better each year, and he's a very talented guy. I think when he came here, he hadn't played in a system like this for a while. It took him a little bit to kind of pick that up, but we so believed in him as a guy and his talent level that after a year, you could start to see it clicking. He became a big asset on special teams, and last year was the first time that we really believed he was going to step in there, really contribute at linebacker at a high level. It was actually kind of a sad story, but it was about 20 minutes before he tours ACL, was the first time that I told him he'd be starting that week. It was his first start in his career, and he had earned it. We were going to move him ahead of Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles at the time. I had just told Flannigan, which was tough for Flannigan, but they were so tight, so he was happy for Curtis. Then it was about 20 minutes later that Curtis tore his ACL on special teams before he even got to a defensive rep. He was so coming in there and finally about to have his moment. Then he had that setback, which I know crushed the team for him. He's one of the most liked guys on our team, as good of a person and good of a dude as I've ever been around. He's worked for this moment, and we're excited to see him get his opportunity." via: 49ers on NBCS

Tucker Carlson: Remembering Charlie Kirk - A Life of Faith and Courage "Quickly about Charlie, I've known him since he was a teenager, and just an amazing person, but the two things that stick out, he's a Christian man. We talked about that a lot, including, you know, just the other day. There's a lot of pressure on public people, people who run huge, you know, hundred million dollar a year non-profits, and there are a lot of pitfalls and traps." "That's why so many of them are destroyed, and Charlie really did, without, you know, betraying details, like he walked the line for real. It was the topic of many conversations between us, because I've seen so many people destroyed. You know, most people are destroyed by power, and he wasn't, and I just really admire that." "I mean, to his last moments, you know, in order, he cared about God, his wife, and his children, and then his country. So, and that was totally real, completely real. I can affirm that, because I just talked to him about it so much, and I admire that, and he's a model, really." "I mean, he didn't have hate in his heart, and it was funny, and again, it's one of the reasons I couldn't stop looking at these videos last night. People were describing the opposite of what he was. He was filled with hate." "No, and if you talked to him about people who had attacked him, or who were truly his enemies, up to, and I think including the people who assassinated him yesterday, he would never, ever express hate, ever. He would always turn to, no, this person has been led astray. This person is clearly possessed by dark forces." "This person is a perpetrator, but also a victim of evil. I mean, that really was his worldview. That's the Christian worldview, and he expressed that in public, and especially in private, and I think that faith, which was completely real, not the fake faith that you see on display so often, but a real one, that was the root of his courage, and he had real courage." "He loved being with people who disagreed with him, not theoretically with them, but physically with them, you know, like close enough to smell. He would wait right in the middle of everything. I mean, I could tell you a million stories that I saw, but that was absolutely real." "Like, he loved people, even people who hated him, and people he loved, he was the rare person who was willing to tell them what he thought was true. I mean, he really believed, as a political matter, by the way, that, you know, I don't think he had animus toward anybody in no other country, but he really believed in his own country, and the obligation of his government to stand behind his country. He was truly America first in the nicest, most decent, non-ideological, but sincere way." "He was one of the only people, I mean, truly one of the only people to go to the president, whom he loved. He loved Donald Trump, like, personally as well, and I think the president really loved him in a real way, but he was one of the only people to go to the Oval Office and say, sir, I totally understand, and think Iran's really bad, but a war with Iran is not, you know, is something that could really hurt our country. I mean, boy, that was an unpopular position." "He didn't need to express it. Oh, of course, and he did it again. He didn't have some weird agenda. He wasn't mad at anybody. He was for his country, and he was for doing the right and wise and difficult thing, and he said that. He went to the Oval Office to say that." "He took massive, massive abuse from his own donors, which is also something that you don't see. He was one of the very few people, very few people I have met who combined a, like, a love for everyone involved with strong views. So, again, he was not animated by anything creepy or weird." "I mean, you knew him intimately, so you know this is true. If you talked to him off camera, he would say, you know, I really, like, I love whoever I'm talking about, but I think this is wrong. It's immoral." "It's bad for everybody involved, both sides, and he would say that, and he could say that because it was sincere. It was completely sincere, but I cannot overstate the amount of attacks he took privately over this, like, absolutely for real, and having lived in Washington most of my life and seen people run non-profits, I've never met one who was willing, stand up is too strong. He wasn't confrontational, but he would just say, no, I'm sorry that you feel that way, but I think this is the right thing." "The people we represent, which is mostly young people, they believe this, and I believe it also. It was brave, but loving at the same time, and I'm not sure he made a lot of headway, by the way. I mean, I think he made real enemies in doing that, but his view didn't change." "Anyway, he's just a wonderfully decent, loving man. That is true."

We were completely in love with each other. I did not know earlier that he was married. Later, when I came to know he told me that they (his wife & him) were not together anymore, they had separated. He said that he wanted to marry me. I was staying with him for a long time. When I went to meet him that night, he was with his wife. I was in shock when I went to talk to him, he got aggressive. We had a fight. Three bones in my right leg are broken, it has been operated on. From my left shoulder to my hips I've deep injuries...I cannot move my body. Chitrangda Singh reacts to rumours of #SalmanKhan arriving late on sets I can vouch for it that there’s not been one day that he’s been late. I sometimes like suppose there was an important scene that we were shooting emotionally very important for #BattleOfGalwan and he was there even though it was he wasn’t in the shot. He was there at 10:30 in the morning not just one day I think there was three days in a row that he was there that early. I have lot respect for that man for having so much devotion for his work.

As I watched Yahya Sinwar in that drone footage, injured, barely able to move, I couldn’t help but wonder, what was he thinking? Like, what was going through his mind at that particular moment? Did he see that drone coming at him and did he think, I did great? Did he feel proud of the death toll, tens of thousands of his own people that he caused? Did he think, yeah, I’m sitting here, I’m about to be killed in this completely destroyed living room, among the ruins of other homes in Gaza, did he say, yeah, yeah, good on me? Was it that or did he recognize the undeniable truth of his failure? After everything he’s done, some people are trying to hail him as a hero, but we know the truth, we saw it with our own eyes. He lost, and he lost really badly. He was also, we know now, was among the six hostages, Z”L, Hersh, Carmel, Alex, Eden, Ori, and Almog, who were brutally executed as the IDF was closing in on him. In his final moments, did he realize he was about to become another footnote in history, joining the ranks of those who tried and failed to kill the Jewish people in the past?

Here’s Rivers’ full confession from tonight’s LUX TOUR Confessional with ROSALÍA: “When I was in high school, there was a boy I really liked. We talked, but we were ‘just friends,’ and as time went by, we got to know each other more. He would ask me out, and it started becoming something more. Then, one day, he told me he liked me and felt the same way. I was so excited, so hopeful. His birthday was coming up, and there was going to be Pal Norte, a festival here. I spent months saving money to take him to the festival. I even did raffles and everything, because I was 13 or 14 years old. When his birthday finally came, I had prepared a surprise for him, organized everything, and planned a special moment. When I gave him the gift, he saw what it was and got kind of weird. Then he told me, ‘Oh, it’s just that I have a family commitment,’ or whatever. Something like that. But he had been saying for months that he wanted to go, so it didn’t make any sense. I said, ‘Okay, fine, nothing happened.’ Since I had the extra tickets, I told a friend, ‘This is your opportunity, come with me.’ She was going to the festival too, so we went together. We were about to leave when, guess who I ran into at the festival? Him. With someone else, all cuddled up, and I think they were holding hands. And the worst part? Do you know who it was? A classmate. After that, I didn’t want anything to do with ‘Nati’ and I hated everyone for a long time. I spent several years not trusting anyone and not wanting to meet people in that way. But it was an experience, and eventually I realized it didn’t have to be that way.”

Jon Bernthal defends the Shia LaBeouf interview and speaks about why he has no regrets doing the interview "And you know just the fact that I had Shia Labeouf on I've got an enormous amount of backlash, for the first time really as like a public person, kinda hatred." "And the fact that I had given somebody who could have, who may have done these things that this woman says, you know that really hurt people, and I felt fucking terrible about that man." "Did you wish you hadn't done it? No, because after talking to him and then going around and talking to women who have been victims themselves." "What I found was that so many people have reached out who said like 'I was in that place, like I was in that place where he was, in that place where I was wether I was abusive or not abusive I was getting there, and the drugs and the alcohol were getting the better of me.'" "He was 2 years sober at the time I had him on and I felt really what it was, was like a real meditation in shame, you know."

Rep. Greg Casar: Just a few weeks ago, we alerted the community about this ICE surge in Austin. Now they have shot Wilber Garcés Perez, a husband and a father, in the back. It is completely unacceptable and it has got to stop. When he went to the hospital, people were denying his wife, his family, the ability to visit him. He was handed over to ICE 4 hours after he was shot

Albert Breer on what #Chiefs DC Steve Spagnuolo said to him after the Super Bowl about Brock Purdy: “That conversation I had with Steve Spagnuolo after the game, on his own he said 'Brock Purdy is really good'. When he was referencing why he changed what he was doing in the middle of the game and came off of playing so much zone and went exclusively to man coverage, he was like 'Purdy was identifying what we were doing and ripping apart our zone. We could not stay in that defense because of who Brock Purdy was as a player. So we had to put more on our corners and play more man defense.' You know it wound up working out for them, but they were adjusting to what Brock Purdy was doing, not the other way around.” via: Rich Eisen Show

Senator Rand Paul admits that he was “kind of surprised” Anthony Fauci actually invoked the Fifth Amendment given his broad 10-year pardon. Paul said the only other person he knows of who received such a lenient pardon was Hunter Biden. PAVLICH: “Were you surprised that he decided now to take the Fifth, given that you guys have had back-and-forths and testimony previously?” “And why do you think he did?” PAUL: “You know, I was kind of surprised.” “You know, he’s been granted a very broad pardon, a 10-year pardon.” “The only person that I know of in history who has gotten a pardon this broad has been Hunter Biden… maybe not the best category or company to keep.” “But yeah, I was surprised. He’s been given a pardon. All he had to do was show up and tell the truth.” “Even if he had deleted records against the law, deleted federal records during that 10-year period of time, all he had to say was, ‘Oh well, I forgot about it. Yeah, I did.’ And I’ve been pardoned.” “You know...the only way he was under any liability is if he lied about it.”

'We knew Orbán would not win the election' – Vance. 'One of the reasons we decided to support him was not that we don't know how to read polls. We certainly understood that there was a very high probability that Viktor would lose these elections. We did it because he is one of the few European leaders we have seen who was willing to stand up to the bureaucracy in Brussels, which has been very, very unfavorable to the United States. We did not go because we expected Viktor to easily win the election. We went because it was right to support a man who has long supported us. So it was not about Russia and, essentially, not about Europe. It was about the United States and the fact that he was a good partner – personally for me and for the president, but also for the US. I am sorry that he lost'. - SK
