Naibel Benavides should still be alive. Tesla Autopilot killed her because it was engaged on a road that Tesla knew it wasn't safe on. The NTSB ordered Tesla to restrict Autopilot use to the freeways it was designed for in 2016 and again in 2019 after two fatal crashes with cross traffic. Tesla ignored them and more people were killed. In 2023 NHTSA recalled Autopilot for this same problem. Tesla claimed to have fixed the issue. Tesla lied. Even today, Autopilot can be engaged on any road with lane markings. More people will be killed because of this. Elon Musk's callous indifference to human life is sickening. He should not be allowed anywhere near safety critical software.

My absolute favorite new feature in this update is that you can now see in Dashcam recordings whether the car was driving on Autopilot or FSD (Supervised). Major FSD/Autopilot/Cruise control issue Tesla Just got my 5th strike this trip on FSD for literally using the weather map on the built in screen. Now.. I don’t even have basic cruise control. I have 1,500 miles to drive back to Colorado in a few days. What an absolute joke!

TESLA FSD WARNING: ‼️ I need Tesla’s attention on this. It’s an easy fix. Tesla FSD Subscription has a HUGE LOOPHOLE and to me, it’s very dangerous. My subscription was canceled, without my knowledge. I have no strikes - ever. My subscription was automated withdraw. I have money in the account. This was unexpected and the “expectation of having FSD” Is the danger. I found this issue out mid stop light turn. When I thought it was FSD Engaged but it was actually Autopilot. The TINY message pre-drive saying, “Your Autopilot settings have been reset” was not understood. I thought it was in reference to speed settings. It was not. If I had started my drive from my driveway this would have been obvious, but I wait until I’m out of my neighborhood at a speed of 45mph, before I cut it on. At this point it is was not an obvious difference between Auto Pilot and FSD. It BECAME OBVIOUS mid stoplight turn. Tesla needs to fix this. Amsterdam streets are crowded and a challenging play for FSD. The Bollenstreek (Tulips near Keukenhof) has many small roads that aren't realy 2 way roads, many tourists, bikes and pedestrians, giving FSD a massive challenge that it handled much better than I expected. Watch the Model S conquer this challenge without being in the way of anyone and raising some thank you's. There was also an encouter with the Bollenstreek classic tour convoy. The visualisation is a bit hard to see, as it's only on the instrument cluster, but you can see FSD is on all the time. I got a lot of flack for my post this weekend saying Tesla has solved autonomy. Well after 2 more hours on 12.3.4 just now, I stand by this statement. Zero human input except for a few accelerator taps. Doorstep to doorstep. Is it perfect? No. But neither are humans. And it’s only improving from here. It may not work well in your city yet, but for my area it’s basically solved. If Tesla can solve it in my area there’s no reason they can’t do the same in all cities. Amazing work Elon Musk and Tesla Autopilot team. 🙌 When I first pulled up to this construction zone I couldn’t even see the path I was supposed to take. FSD nailed it without hesitation. 👇

For a second I thought: “Why are you braking?” Then I saw it. A cyclist was coming fast from the right side — I didn’t even notice him. The car saw him before I did.
