Hezbollah has been boasting how it could destroy the USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN-78) and its escorts. Lets dive into how Hezbollah Terrorists could attack a US Navy Aircraft carrier in the Med, what could happen, and the possible outcomes, assisted with Command Development Team simulation software. To understand the footage shown, let me break down some basic concepts of modern naval combat: Military ships often use a concept called "EMCON", which stands for EMission CONtrol, or "Radio silence" in laymans terms. Consider it like this: if you are with a flashlight in the night, you can spot a person say 500 Meters away by shining at him with the flashlight. You will however, be able to see that flashlight from many kilometers away, without being seen, even if it is directed at you, giving you the location of the person with the flashlight, without disclosing your presence. So ships really avoid "radio emissions", such as radar. Carrier Strike Groups (CSG) like the Ford CSG WANT Radar coverage for their own safety, but not in a way that their location can be known. This is done by Airplanes that fly in the general vicinity of the CSG, providing coverage, without compromising the CSG location. The US Navy uses the E-2 Hawkeye for this in most cases. In this case here, we are not using the E-2 Hawkeye, but the (likely in Theater anyway) E-3 Sentry from NATO. A system that is likely LESS sophisticated than the cutting edge E-2D Advanced Hawkeyes that were visible on the USS Ford pictures that surfaced recently. We do not simulate any carrier based "Combat Air Patrol" either, to test the "ship based" defenses. The composition of the Ford CSG is modeled using the actual ships listed. The CSG is moving on a nothern course at 15 knots, under full EMCON, 115 miles off the coast. The maximum range of the Russian Bastion-P coastal missle complex is about 100 miles, we have to assume that the US Navy will sail their ships outside of (possible) Hezbollah radar range. We also assume, as this is a time of very heightened alert, that the US Navy has Rules of Engagement that would allow it to shoot down any Hezbollah drones or craft coming at it with apparent hostile intention. I have assumed this to be 50 miles away from the CSG in this scenario. Now lets look at the Hezbollah side. We assume to have 6 Bastion-P complexes, with 2 missles per Transport-Erector-Launcher (TEL). So if it can be figured out where the CSG is, 12 P-800 Oniks missle with speeds over Mach 2 would be able to engage the CSG. The problem however is, that you can not "shoot" at a ship without knowing its location. While this may sound very simple indeed, when the ship you are looking for does not disclose its location voluntarily, you can not go to "marinetraffic" and look for the carrier. You can also not use your airforce, if you do not really have one, like Hezbollah. You can not use Sattelites, if you have none. You can try to use drones, if you know the overall direction, or use radar. Land based Radar? Out of Range. Drones? Yes, lets fly drones to the overall direction, hoping to see the carrier. Satellites? Nope. Wait, lets ask Putin. He will probably be nice enough to us, to have a liasion tell us in real time from a russian sattelite where the CSG is. And thats what we are running with here, as drones will not reach the carrier. A russian sattelite could provide rather real time information on the CSG location, allowing manual targeting. The video will provide you with the results. A US CSG with such powerful escorts will not be fundamentally threatened by the assets of Hezbollah. It will have to defend, but will do so rather easily. At the conclusion of the Engagement, the CSG still has literally 100s of SM-2, SM-6 and ESSM Missles. Note: this is done on commercially available software, the software uses NTDS/APP6 icons, white is air radar range, yellow surface, green sonar. Hezbollah has been boasting how it could destroy the USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN-78) and its escorts. Lets dive into how Hezbollah Terrorists could attack a US Navy Aircraft carrier in the Med, what could happen, and the possible outcomes, assisted with Command Development Team simulation software. To understand the footage shown, let me break down some basic concepts of modern naval combat: Military ships often use a concept called "EMCON", which stands for EMission CONtrol, or "Radio silence" in laymans terms. Consider it like this: if you are with a flashlight in the night, you can spot a person say 500 Meters away by shining at him with the flashlight. You will however, be able to see that flashlight from many kilometers away, without being seen, even if it is directed at you, giving you the location of the person with the flashlight, without disclosing your presence. So ships really avoid "radio emissions", such as radar. Carrier Strike Groups (CSG) like the Ford CSG WANT Radar coverage for their own safety, but not in a way that their location can be known. This is done by Airplanes that fly in the general vicinity of the CSG, providing coverage, without compromising the CSG location. The US Navy uses the E-2 Hawkeye for this in most cases. In this case here, we are not using the E-2 Hawkeye, but the (likely in Theater anyway) E-3 Sentry from NATO. A system that is likely LESS sophisticated than the cutting edge E-2D Advanced Hawkeyes that were visible on the USS Ford pictures that surfaced recently. We do not simulate any carrier based "Combat Air Patrol" either, to test the "ship based" defenses. The composition of the Ford CSG is modeled using the actual ships listed. The CSG is moving on a nothern course at 15 knots, under full EMCON, 115 miles off the coast. The maximum range of the Russian Bastion-P coastal missle complex is about 100 miles, we have to assume that the US Navy will sail their ships outside of (possible) Hezbollah radar range. We also assume, as this is a time of very heightened alert, that the US Navy has Rules of Engagement that would allow it to shoot down any Hezbollah drones or craft coming at it with apparent hostile intention. I have assumed this to be 50 miles away from the CSG in this scenario. Now lets look at the Hezbollah side. We assume to have 6 Bastion-P complexes, with 2 missles per Transport-Erector-Launcher (TEL). So if it can be figured out where the CSG is, 12 P-800 Oniks missle with speeds over Mach 2 would be able to engage the CSG. The problem however is, that you can not "shoot" at a ship without knowing its location. While this may sound very simple indeed, when the ship you are looking for does not disclose its location voluntarily, you can not go to "marinetraffic" and look for the carrier. You can also not use your airforce, if you do not really have one, like Hezbollah. You can not use Sattelites, if you have none. You can try to use drones, if you know the overall direction, or use radar. Land based Radar? Out of Range. Drones? Yes, lets fly drones to the overall direction, hoping to see the carrier. Satellites? Nope. Wait, lets ask Putin. He will probably be nice enough to us, to have a liasion tell us in real time from a russian sattelite where the CSG is. And thats what we are running with here, as drones will not reach the carrier. A russian sattelite could provide rather real time information on the CSG location, allowing manual targeting. The video will provide you with the results. A US CSG with such powerful escorts will not be fundamentally threatened by the assets of Hezbollah. It will have to defend, but will do so rather easily. At the conclusion of the Engagement, the CSG still has literally 100s of SM-2, SM-6 and ESSM Missles. Note: this is done on commercially available software, the software uses NTDS/APP6 icons, white is air radar range, yellow surface, green sonar. Get clear on what you intensely desire, and pursue it. 9) Robert spent years as a failed writer. He said: “I was a nobody, I had no money, I had no success, I was very frustrated, I was depressed, even bordering on suicidal.” 10) Don't try to change people's morals with a book. They have to come to the idea on their own. You can give them the information or lead them in a certain direction, but preaching to people doesn't change their thinking. 11) If you're consistently struggling with writer's block, you might be suppressing your anger. But anger is an intoxicating emotion. It manufactures words for you. Learn to listen to it. 12) The anger should be controlled, though. Robert says: "Controlled anger is ten times more powerful than just venting." 13) Writing prompt: What's something that's making you angry and pissed off? 14) Don't write about what you think you should write about. Write about what actually excites you because genuine excitement is the only fuel that can sustain you over multiple years while you're working on a book. 15) What's the mission of Robert's work? 12 months ago i was surviving on tuna cans in Dubai this was the disgusting 12m² apartment I got kicked out for unpaid rent today I'm making $62K+/month from AI & live wherever I want in September 2024, i paid $4,000 to flew to Dubai for Hassan Haider's mastermind thinking I'd network for 3 days and go home what happened next was the most unhinged year of my life on day 1 I had a Closer Cartel sales interview at 12 AM Dubai time while staying at Paramount Hotel 1 AM: went to the balcony and met two men in their 40s first time I'd ever talked to actual millionaires they had yachts, showed me pictures with Real Madrid footballers, chain smoking on the top floor bars until 4 AM as a naive kid fresh out of college, i was completely enchanted by these guys they gave me the "sell me this pen" test on the spot - i remember nailing it half drunk lmao they were impressed enough to spend hours with me, showing off their lifestyle, promising rolexes, talking about making me rich after ONE conversation with these strangers, my 21-year-old brain made the most impulsive decision of my life: abandoned my entire US setup to move to Dubai permanently and join them on their venture of 'commodity trading' i thought i'd found my ticket to the top i didn't even attend a single mastermind event I paid $4,000 originally for my parents lost their fucking minds the household was in complete chaos for months thought I was getting scammed by "retarded people" I'd just met the honeymoon phase in dubai lasted exactly 14 days. then reality hit... these "mentors" were complete amateurs one was an alcoholic who'd be supportive one day, then threaten me the next would threaten me over 200 dirhams ($50) convinced me to invest my entire $4,000 net worth in commodity trading told me he had CIA connections who'd "take me down" as a 21-year-old dependent on visa sponsorship, these threats felt like death sentences a year later, still haven't seen that money back spent months trying to broker copper cathode, crude oil, gold deals worth tens of thousands thinking I'd make $50K commissions that would solve everything none of the deals ever closed just endless paperwork leading nowhere we were all inexperienced amateurs pretending to be commodity traders the survival period was insane my relationship w/ the landlord broke down when I couldn't pay rent for 2-3 weeks, i survived on 1-2 cans of tuna daily lost 22 pounds, went from 67kg to 57kg all my credit cards were over limits, all debit accounts negative, rent in dallas was overdue literally "live or die trying" mentality for 3 days couldn't even go back to my place had to go to bars and pick up different women just to have somewhere to sleep one from Iran, one from Eastern Europe, third i don't remember meanwhile i'm still trying everyday to make cash - training people at the gym, doing random gigs for anything get money in yet funnily enough despite being financially broke, i somehow maintained access to exclusive social circles would be invited to private superyachts with 7 millionaires and 30-40 Russian, Ukrainian, Swedish supermodels private mansion parties in Marina Bay the contrast i'd see on a day by day was surreal: one day surviving on tuna cans, next day in the burj khalifa at 3am at a girls place overlooking the business bay, then 4 hours later, i'm in my shoebox room the entire experience in dubai definitely taught me more lessons about life than i ever would watching a podcast or reading a book i learnt that personal energy & charisma matter more than financial status if i could access the highest social circles while being completely broke, then what can i not do? meanwhile, I was working remotely for Ticketmaster with massive timezone conflicts - getting warnings for poor performance daily. I wasn't even showing up to team meetings because I'd fuck off to random establishments to connect with people and try to make something happen if I'd been fired, would've lost my visa status and been permanently unable to return to the US was literally playing with my entire future amidst all this chaos, i did end up making one or two really good friends however the only solace i'd get once in a while was going to the Dubai Mall for hotpot, just having normal fun conversations one of them actually worked for the CIA - he'd have the coolest & most surreal stories, we would often hit the gym together and finally, the turning point came in November 2024 at 2 AM when i discovered a video about AI chatbots with nothing to lose, i built my first chatbot that night started selling basic AI services on Upwork began making real money from AI systems and kept doubling down on it around the start of this year, i returned to the US when AI work generated consistent income and since then, its been only up so yeah there was a fair amount of loneliness during that stint complete uncertainty on a day by day basis. in flight or fight mode pretty much 24/7 constantly thinking where i'm going to get my next 10 AED from but exposing myself to all of that turmoil has definitely given me an edge in business, whether it comes to negotiation, deal-making, seeing through shit, leading people, putting people in their place, etc if you're also chasing any kind of goal/ mission just remember that its never truly over it only is when you convince yourself it is you can always rise from the ashes and have an epic comeback story to tell

The book "Excellent Advice for Living" is so good I read it in one sitting. The book is a collection of maxims Kevin Kelly wrote to his adult children. Each maxim contains a bit of wisdom he wish he'd known earlier. 79 maxims that resonated the most (I added #57 selfishly) 1. Choose to believe that the entire universe is conspiring behind your back to make you a success. 2. Mastering the view through the eyes of others will unlock many doors. 3. If you can avoid seeking the approval of others your power is limitless. 4. The reward for good work is more work. 5. Don’t be the best. Be the only. 6. The urgent is a tyrant. The important should be your king. 7. Find smart people who will disagree with you. 8. The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing. 9. The most counterintuitive truth of the universe is that the more you give to others the more you'll get. 10. Life gets better as you replace transactions with relationships. 11. Courtesy costs nothing. 12. Life lessons will be presented to you in the order they are needed. 13. Cultivate an allergy to average. 14. If you repeated what you did today 365 more times would you be where you want to be next year? 15. If you're alive that means you still have lessons to learn. 16. Master something. Through mastery of one thing you'll command a viewpoint to steadily find where your bliss is. 17. Trust is earned in drops and lost in buckets. 18. First, always ask for what you want. Fear makes people do stupid things. 72. When someone is nasty, hateful, or mean toward you treat their behavior like an affliction or illness they have. That makes it easier to have empathy toward them which can soften the conflict. 73. You don't need more time because you already have all the time you will ever get; you need more focus. 74. Compliment people behind their back. It'll come back to you. 75. Expand your mind by thinking with your feet on a walk or with your hand in a notebook. Think outside your brain. 76. Gratitude will unlock all other virtues. 77. You choose to be lucky by believing that any setbacks are just temporary. 78. It is useful to organize your thoughts with someone you trust and admire. 79. Over the long term the future is decided by optimists. This is probably the best single podcast I’ve ever watched for founders. David Senra has truly created what he calls “Church for entrepreneurs” in the Founder’s podcast. He's read 400+ biographies of history's greatest founders distilled the biggest lessons into 15 harsh truths: 1. Excellence is the capacity to take pain. Nothing worth doing arrives easily: Izzy Sharp built Four Seasons with no money, no experience, no contacts, and years of 2am ceiling-staring. 2. Problems are opportunities in work clothes. Business IS problems. The best companies are just efficient problem-solving machines. 3. There are ideas worth billions sitting in a $30 history book. Every great entrepreneur studied the great entrepreneurs before them. 4. A trusted personal network may be the most valuable asset in the world. Not a follower count. A handful of people who'd pick up at 3am. 5. Most high performers are driven by insufficiency, not balance. They're filling a void, not enacting a beautiful vision. Be honest about which one you are. 6. Actions express priority. You are only what you do, never what you say you value. 7. Bad boys move in silence. When you find an edge, shut up about it. Talking invites competition. Competition destroys profits. 8. Belief comes BEFORE ability. The world has this backwards: it wants you to prove it first. You have five seconds to catch somebody's attention on the Internet. If you didn't catch them with the headline or in the first two sentences, they're gone. 4. A good story is like leverage for ideas. An idea on its own might be boring, but if you tell a good story about someone interacting with that idea, you can get people to nod their heads and pay attention. 8.
