Battery Generator… requires no Fuel.

No matter how many times this is explained, another video claiming a self-sustaining generator somehow appears. This is simply not sustainable. Over time, the battery’s rate of recharging can never keep up with its rate of discharge, so eventually the entire system comes to a stop. There are two ways of converting a battery’s DC power into usable electricity: Battery ~ Inverter ~ AC electricity💡(the method you see in most homes with solar and backup systems). Battery ~ Electric motor ~ Rotor (electromagnetic induction) ~ Alternator ~ AC electricity 💡. The first method is far more efficient because it converts electrical energy (Battery) directly into AC 💡 with relatively small losses. The second method is much less efficient because energy is lost at every stage: in the electric motor, through bearing friction, air resistance, heat, vibration, magnetic losses in the alternator, and electrical resistance in the wiring. Every conversion wastes some energy. In both cases, the battery is the only real source of energy. Since no system is 100% efficient, the battery will always discharge faster than it can “recharge itself.” The mechanical arrangement simply runs the battery down even faster. A machine cannot produce more energy than it consumes, so a self-running generator powered only by its own battery is impossible.

I did things like these among other things in my early secondary school days trying to solve electricity problem in my house. Batteries will eventually run out of Power and the entire system shuts down. Perpetual energy cannot be achieved. You need energy from external source

Wait, this is only good if the Generator is charging the battery back through a charge controller/inverter simultaneously. If not, this is disastrous.

This is scientically not possible. You don't manufacture energy from thin air and yet lose energy to drag and heat and still generate enough to power your household and recharge the batteries. That battery will die and the engine will stop.

This is a waste of energy.. Converting Chemical energy to Mechanical energy (more expensive than inverter) then to Electrical energy, whereas we can just use Inverter covert Chemical to Electrical... All will still need solar to recharge batteries.

I think the second law of thermodynamics tells us this will be inefficient.

Inplement how to charge your battery while it works and sound proof.

I understand what he is trying to build but there are missing components. The alternator should be able to return AC to a converter that will send DC to the prime mover to continue the loop thereby putting the battery to rest while the system runs by itself. Small scale tested

The thing is highly ineffective as the power looses from battery to the motor then to the alternator is insane. It is not a reliable energy source.

This is beginning to look like a mental health crisis in Nigeria and everyone should be worried. We would have concluded it's a result of the gap in education but this is a menace. Basic science tells you firsthand how this is a waste of time and resources. Perpetual motion machines like this battery 'generator' violate basic physics; energy cannot be created from nothing.

Ok this is cool and I can see the alternator will be charging thr battery but what's the point of going for this with the noise and not inverter with no noise

I tried it but i couldnt cool the Electric Motor, another problem was recharging that battery, i drained the 2 X 75 Amph battery fast, it powered our 5 bedroom duplex for 10 minutes, one technician advised to use 200Amh battery

Foolishness. A pair of lead-acid batteries powers a DC motor that cranks an AC alternator to generate AC electricity for a few seconds. Knowledge of the principles of physics and the laws of energy conversion would have prevented this waste of time and money.

The man who posted this video is not suicide, he knows how to swim, his car breaks are working perfectly, he has a loving wife and family, he is not depressed in any way.

i personally tried this and i can say for a fact "Energy cannot be created or destroyed; it can only be converted from one form to another" this law no be cho cho cho... In simple terms "You Can't Get Energy from Nothing"...not possible, so go buy solar gen or inverter, end of story. i spent a million Naira to realize this...a word is sufficient for the wat?

This is a rubbish invention… if the person had paid attention in school they won’t bother to invent this … chemical energy is being converted here…. The battery will need replacement often

This is a waste of energy( in friction,heat and magnetic drag (lenz law) ) a steady state system like the regular inverter would have been a better choice for converting the energy from the battery to alternating current
