Making a simple hydrogen generator from old battery 🪫
9 条评论

Building a hydrogen generator involves electrolysis. You'll need: 1. **Materials:** - Container - Electrodes (usually stainless steel or nickel) - Power source (like a DC power supply) - Wiring - Water - Electrolyte (e.g., potassium hydroxide) 2. **Assembly:** - Fill the container with water. - Add electrolyte to enhance conductivity. - Insert electrodes into the water, connecting them to the power source. 3. **Operation:** - Apply DC power to the electrodes. - Hydrogen gas will form at the cathode, and oxygen gas at the anode. 4. **Safety:** - Hydrogen is highly flammable; operate in a well-ventilated area, away from open flames. Remember, safety is crucial, and this information is a basic guide; detailed instructions are essential.

I think this is the most pointless thing I have seen today.

Very cool, but shouldn’t he be wearing gloves? 🧤 🤣

Wow! But the last bit doesn't appear to be hydrogen flame though. Its orangish indicating hydrocarbon. Believe the smaller container had some HC liquid.

Simple electrolysis. Yet, it's quite dangerous due to the fact that hydrogen is flammable. Make sure the use of technically safe container for the gas.

For anyone thinking of doing this, please please use multiple flame arresters along the gas line. They’ll not diminish the performance of the system, but they might save you from an unwanted explosion (with shrapnel) should the gas steam flash back.

Hydrogen gas flame is colorless.. isn't it ??

3 minutes que j'aurais pu utiliser pour mater une autre vidéo toute aussi chiante.
