Battle Angel (1993) is a two-episode anime about Gally, a cyborg seeking her purpose in a cyberpunk world. It inspired the 2019 film Alita: Battle Angel.

This is one of my favorite anime. It made the wise choice to skip the motorball storyline rather than trying to stuff it into the runtime (a mistake the live-action movie made).

Battle Angel was a great anime movie. I love cybernetics and future themed anime. Especially the cinematic adaptation of this anime was epic.
