This place is a storehouse of arms. During the time when Dr. Paribaha Mukherjee was fatally attacked in NRS Hospital by a group of minority people & discussion was up in the air that West Bengal may have President's Rule, TMC men were distributing arms from Budge Budge, Maheshtala area deep at night in small consignments. People were coming to take their consignment of arms & carrying them off in cycles to different parts of the city so that under Prez Rule they can use those arms all over the city & create law and order issues. For a proper control on the law and order situation, this place has to be sanitized.

Earlier in February, in the same area, several close associates of TMC councillor Sangita Das’s husband, Babu Das, were arrested in a staged operation involving alleged immoral activities at a hotel, which was subsequently sealed. However, due to police inefficiency, they are now out on bail.
