Can't help but smile at this one. One of those stories I think we are going to look back and laugh at one day. ⬇️ James Voorhies was an uncommitted catcher (and a very good one) just over a year ago. Hadn't thrown a varsity inning on the mound. In October going into his senior year I played catch with him at the local elementary school. We threw on a crabgrass field and I told him after 15 minutes of playing catch that his arm, body type, and feel for the baseball were far too advanced for him to not be on the mound. James agreed to start throwing bullpens and "give it a shot". 3 weeks later I did a workout with some of our clients and James threw a bullpen on the game mound. He was 85-87 and absolutely pounded the zone. Threw 3 of the dirtiest changeups I’ve seen (we had played with a kick-change grip a few weeks prior). I had never seen him throw against hitters. Saw a 15 minute catch play session and his first bullpen in years. I Immediately sent the video to a handful of Division 1 programs that were on his list and gave them the scoop. “He's got zero track record but everything about him looks like a future pro arm”. Responses ranged anywhere from excitement to skepticism, which was 100% to be expected. Fast forward a few months to February... CSUN pulled the trigger before his high school season even started and James went on to post a 1.09 ERA, 83 IP, 60 H, 21 BB, and 83 K in his first year of pitching to help take College Park HS to the NCS championship. So here we are essentially 1 year after Jimmy started pitching full time and he’s up to 94 mph as a true freshman, with a win and a save in his first two collegiate appearances with 7.2 IP, 4 H, 1 BB, 13 K. Pretty cool story of a guy going “all in” on something new and different, and a college program taking a chance on a guy that they see future potential in. But the best part of this story and biggest point I want to make is that I firmly believe the reason Jimmy V was the guy that CSUN took a shot on was because of his makeup, work ethic, character, and competitiveness. Jimmy is one of the best “makeup” guys I’ve ever recruited or advised. He is the perfect combination of humble and confident and was the QB/captain of his football team in high school. Jimmy made it easy for CSUN to say “that’s the guy we want to take a chance on.” And yes, it helped that he was 6’4” and a big time multi-sport athlete with a ton of upside. I'm really lost for words. Five months ago, the Arkansas Baptist College football team was expelled from our practice facility due to unpaid rental fees for maintenance and upkeep. Consequently, spring football practice was suspended and many of our promising student-athletes left, and many of the ballers that we were attempting to recruit, shunned our efforts. Fast forward to the third week of football in September. The Buffaloes are 2-1 with their only loss coming from FCS Houston Christian, in which they were very competitive for a half. I had no expectations for Coach Richard Wilson and his staff this season. After enduring so many challenges, just fielding a team for the 2025 football season would be considered victorious for the program. But these young men have tasted winning, and now they want more. Praying that our young men will continue growing in the Lord ✝️, hitting the books 📚, and balling 🏈 out on the football field. GOD'S PLAN 🙏🏻✝️🙌❣️

I watched so you did not have to and here is the breakdown!!!! Nearly 2 hours. Plenty of nostalgia. Plenty of vibes. Lots of feelings. But when the net was wide open for actual clarification? Dead air. Total time Chris Albert spoke 1,501 seconds Which is 25 min and 1 sec. So on an almost 2 hour show, he spoke for about 25 minutes total. Roughly 21% of the entire show The remaining time was largely filled by the hosts themselves frequently cutting him off, reframing questions, finishing answers for him, or moving the conversation along before he ever had to sit in discomfort or explain anything fully. 0 minutes of that time addressed the major unresolved timeline and movement issues Oddly missing from this fact-based discussion No explanation for how Colin got home 20 min AFTER Chris that night, despite a four-minute head start No explanation for why Chris’s wife that went to 34 Fairview with donuts for brian Jr. pulled behind a car that was not there only an hour earlier with no explanation then, turned around, came back to get him, returned again, stayed 30 min, then left, all on the morning John was found. No mention of parents allegedly coordinating to quietly clean up a house-destroying party involving minors in which his son was one No discussion of repeated allegations of Colin being removed from bars for underage drinking. We were told this channel is about facts, not opinion. So we treated it like a data exercise. We timed everything Chris talked about, so you didn’t have to. Russian sources report approximately 16 FP-1/FP-2 type loitering munitions were used in the strike. The evidence tells a more nuanced and damning story. On 24 May, Russia's own Ministry of Foreign Affairs published the names of 21 dead with dates of birth ranging from 2003 to 2007. That makes the youngest victims 18 or 19 years old and the oldest, 22 or 23. This is the recruitment and training age for Rubicon personnel and not students at a vocational college. Yet Russia immediately declared these were "children aged 14 to 18." Those two claims cannot both be true, and Russia produced both of them. The narrative was constructed from the first hour. Russian-installed governor Pasechnik, Children's Rights Commissioner Lvova-Belova, TASS, and Russian MFA statements all repeated the 14-to-18 framing within hours of the strike. It circulated globally before any casualty list appeared. However, there is a strong possibility Rubicon personnel were co-located with vocational students in the same complex. Some genuine students were likely among the wounded. The evidence instead points to a strike on a legitimate military target operating within a dual-use civilian complex. Moscow has a systematic pattern of militarizing civilian infrastructure across occupied territory. Placing military assets among civilians is a deliberate choice, not an accident. The timeline further exposes the pretext. Russia had already intensified strikes on Kyiv from 12-13 May, over 12 days before Starobilsk.
