BREAKING: Kamala Harris Unveils Bold "Opportunity Economy" at Pittsburgh Business Club, Takes Direct Aim at Trump’s Agenda—See Key Differences She Highlighted Below! NOTE: Kamala Harris has just laid out a comprehensive vision for an "Opportunity Economy," focusing on rebuilding the middle class through middle-class tax cuts, investments in housing, manufacturing, and healthcare, and reducing costs for working families. Her plan, she said, prioritizes job creation in emerging technologies, small business growth, and clean energy, while promoting fairness and accountability for big corporations. Harris contrasted her approach with Donald Trump’s, highlighting that his policies primarily benefited the wealthy, undermined small businesses, and failed to grow manufacturing sectors effectively. Here is what she said about her economic plan compared to Trump's economic agenda 1- Middle-Class Tax Relief: Harris: Proposes significant tax cuts for middle-class families, including $6,000 for new parents. Trump: Advocated tax cuts primarily benefiting billionaires and corporations. 2- Lowering Housing Costs: Harris: Plan to build 3 million new homes and provide $25,000 in down payment assistance for first-time homebuyers. Trump: Focused on corporate deregulation with limited emphasis on affordable housing. 3- Reducing Prescription Drug Costs: Harris: Pledges to cap prescription drug costs, building on prior efforts. Trump: Little progress on reducing drug prices; cut regulations mainly benefiting pharmaceutical companies. 4- Childcare and Elder Care Support: Harris: Offers childcare and eldercare support, plus paid family leave for all workers. Trump: Reduced funding for social programs, including childcare, in favor of tax cuts. 5- Small Business Growth: Harris: Plans to increase the startup tax deduction from $5,000 to $50,000 and offer low/no-interest loans to small businesses. Trump: His policies favored large corporations, with fewer benefits for small businesses. 6- Boosting American Manufacturing: Harris: Proposes tax credits for steel and iron jobs, plus a focus on strengthening factory towns. Trump: Promised to bring back manufacturing but saw manufacturing job losses, particularly in steel. 7- Technological Innovation and AI Leadership: Harris: Investments in AI, quantum computing, and biomanufacturing to maintain global leadership. Trump: Focused on short-term gains with limited vision for long-term tech growth. 8- Cutting Red Tape for Infrastructure and Housing Projects: Harris: Focuses on speeding up permitting and cutting red tape to accelerate project timelines. Trump: Highlighted infrastructure projects but failed to enact significant reforms for quicker development. 9- Investing in Clean Energy: Harris: Advocates for expanding clean energy technologies like geothermal and advanced nuclear. Trump: Reversed environmental protections and prioritized fossil fuels. 10- Worker Rights and Union Support: Harris: Strongly supports unions and worker protections, pledges to hold corporations accountable. Trump: Rolled back worker protections and weakened unions.

Thank you NEWSMAX .Anyone who's mad at me or saying I'm lying. Maybe you should start coming to City Hall and talking to the homeowners who have been fighting these issues for years. Go speak with the citizens who have been showing up meeting after meeting, trying to protect their homes, neighborhoods, and communities. I've been fighting on their behalf, especially as property taxes have skyrocketed and, in many cases, nearly tripled. I don't just make things up or repeat talking points. I spend time talking to the people affected, attending meetings, and listening to citizens who are living through these problems every day. I'm REALLY about the Chicago citizens. I will always stand with the people and fight for the homeowners, taxpayers, small businesses, and families who call Chicago home. As Mayor, my Chicagoans First platform will focus on, Freezing property taxes and providing relief for homeowners. Conducting forensic audits to identify waste, fraud, and abuse of taxpayer dollars. Cutting red tape and unnecessary fees so small businesses can grow and create jobs. Revitalizing vacant commercial corridors and blighted neighborhoods. Improving public safety so families and businesses can thrive. Supporting local hiring, apprenticeship programs, and trade education. Protecting longtime citizens from being displaced from their communities. Ensuring every neighborhood gets a seat at the table and receives the attention and investment it deserves. I don't work for the MACHINE. I work for the people. My mission is simple, put Chicago citizens first, rebuild our neighborhoods, protect homeowners, support small businesses, and make sure every community has the opportunity to thrive. Today, so much is on the line. On one hand, we have HIM, a felon, a comfortable liar, an impeached president, a misogynist, and a non-leader who doesn’t care about anyone, but the top 1%...which excludes over 300M Americans. And on the other hand, we have HER, Kamala Harris, a proven leader, a knowledgeable, lifelong civil servant for the people, and a compassionate human being with the strength to lead and navigate our complex government who puts the needs of all Americans first….a candidate with a detailed plan to take us forward. What does a new way forward look like, you ask? 1. Cut Taxes for Working People 2. Lower Food and Grocery Costs 3. Lower Health Care Costs 4. Lower Prescription Drug Costs 5. Lower Energy Costs 6. Lower Costs by Protecting Consumers from Fees and Fraud 7. Help Americans Buy a Home and Afford Rent 8. Invest in the Small Businesses that Drive Growth, Innovation, and Jobs 9. Invest in American Innovation and Industrial Strength Powered by American Workers 10. Create Security and Opportunity for Workers and Build a Care Economy 11. Strengthen Opportunity in Communities Across America 12. Protect Americans’ Ability to Retire With Dignity 13. Make Our Tax Code More Fair and Promote Growth My personal favorite - She supports all women having agency over their bodies and reproductive functions - from wellness care, to abortion, to IVF treatment. I mean, for this, she had me at HELLO! So, take a hard look at what’s on the table. If you don’t exercise your power, you forfeit your right to complain or have an opinion. VOTE TODAY AND LET’S GO FORWARD! #HarrisWalz2024 #KamalaHarris #TimWalz #Vote2024

SOUTH SHORE, WHAT I SAW I recently visited the South Shore community and spoke with citizens and small business owners about their concerns. I walked blocks of abandoned businesses and vacant buildings around 71st & Merrill and 71st & Clyde. This is personal to me. I grew up near 68th & Paxton, and I remember when these streets were full of thriving businesses, families shopping, and a strong sense of community. To see it looking like this today is heartbreaking. This is what Democratic policies have produced while claiming to create an affordable Chicago. THE PROBLEM The business owners we spoke with said they are barely holding on because of: • High property taxes • Crime and retail theft • Inflation • Rising operating costs • Excessive regulations Unfortunately, this is not just a South Shore problem. Communities across Chicago are facing the same challenges. WHAT I WOULD DO AS MAYOR My administration would implement a Small Business Recovery & Relief Plan focused on. • Property tax relief for struggling small businesses and grants to help them stay in business • Cutting unnecessary regulations and fees • Streamlining permits and licensing • Making it easier to open and operate businesses in Chicago PUBLIC SAFETY FIRST Businesses cannot thrive without safety. My administration would: • Increase police presence in business corridors • Crack down on retail theft, vandalism, and repeat offenders by locking them up and keeping them there • Restore order in commercial districts • Help business owners focus on growing their businesses instead of worrying about crime ACCOUNTABILITY FOR YOUR TAX DOLLARS I will launch forensic audits to track where taxpayer dollars are going. Citizens deserve to know: • How their money is being spent • Whether resources are reaching the communities they were intended to help • Why some neighborhoods continue to be left behind Every community deserves investment, opportunity, and a seat at the table. REVITALIZING SOUTH SHORE My administration will work to: • Allow citizens to invest in and own businesses within their own communities • Revitalize commercial corridors like 71st Street • Fill vacant storefronts • Attract new businesses • Support existing business owners • Create jobs for local citizens I will also meet regularly with citizens in every ward to ensure their voices are heard and that aldermen are using community resources effectively. South Shore Citizens does not have to live like this. Chicago does not have to live like this. We can bring our neighborhoods back, support our small businesses, improve public safety, and restore pride in our communities. That's the future I'm fighting for, and that's why I'm running for Mayor of Chicago. When you pay sales tax, your money goes up to Ottawa and Queen’s Park. I’m moving a motion for Toronto to finally receive a share of the HST, to invest in the services you rely on here in your city, every day. Please sign the petition: It’s budget season again in Toronto and the cracks are showing between the City’s revenue and the services that the City is expected to provide. For decades, provincial and federal governments have downloaded responsibilities to the City including roads, shelters, courts, daycare, public health and more. Today, approximately 27% of Toronto’s property tax revenue is spent funding extensions of federal and provincial responsibilities. But even as Toronto is told to take on more, the province prescribes what revenue tools are available to the City, and has restricted them almost exclusively to taxes on property. Toronto is one of Canada’s primary economic engines. The Toronto region generates 20% of the national GDP, 20% of Ontario’s jobs, and attracts more than 28 million annual visitors. This level of economic activity is enabled by the investments our city has made in social and civic infrastructure, including affordable housing, public health, roads and transit. We host people from across the country and around the world at events like Taylor Swift concerts, the World Series, and the FIFA games, which generates tens of millions of dollars in tax revenue for the provincial and federal governments. Meanwhile, the City shoulders the costs of additional policing, emergency services, transit, and crowd management that make these events possible. The math doesn’t work. Without any other source of revenue, municipalities have been forced to hike property taxes, cut vital services and delay critical infrastructure investments just to stay afloat. If Toronto is expected to continue driving national prosperity, it must be granted access to revenue tools that are predictable, reflect our investments, and grow with the economy. No more “new deals”. No more begging for one-time ad hoc program funding. It’s time for Toronto to have a fair share of the HST.

There have been reports and public discussions about demonstrations that are said to be planned for 31 July 2026. As your Minister of State, my foremost concern is the safety, security, and well-being of every resident of this province. Thank you Kandi Burruss for the incredible endorsement on #WWHL 💙 That meant more than you know. I love you even more for standing up and using your voice! This campaign is personal for me. I’m running for Congress because I’ve lived the struggle. I grew up on free lunch. I received WIC and food stamps. I worked my way through school, built businesses in this district for over 25 years, created jobs, and treated thousands of patients. I’ve seen firsthand what happens when healthcare is too expensive, when families are drowning in bills, and when small businesses don’t get the support they deserve. My platform is simple and powerful: • Affordability – Lower the cost of living, protect Social Security and Medicare, expand access to affordable housing, and fight price gouging. • Healthcare – Integrate medical, dental, and mental health. Expand access, lower prescription drug costs, protect the ACA, and support veterans and seniors. • Education – Support public schools, fund HBCUs, reduce student loan burdens, and create real pathways to trades and entrepreneurship. • Economic Opportunity – Invest in small businesses, bring federal resources back to every county in District 13, and create real jobs. • Environmental Justice & Community Safety – Clean air, clean water, safe neighborhoods, and infrastructure that works for our people. I’m not running for a title. I’m running to deliver results. District 13, it’s time to Stand Up and Stand Out. We are More Than Just A Vote. We are A Voice. #RHOA #Married2Med #WorldWide #DrHeavenlyForGeorgia DrHeavenlyForCongress StandUp StandOut MoreThanJustAVote AVoiceForDistrict13

He flipped the script on them instantly. California Gubernatorial candidate Steve Hilton (R) gave a masterful response to the debate moderator who tried to use President Trump’s endorsement of him as an attack against him. MODERATOR: “Mr. Hilton, you said you were ‘deeply honored’ to recently receive President Trump’s endorsement.” “That’s despite the fact that 62% of Californians disapprove of the job he is doing. Are those Californians wrong?” HILTON: “One of the proudest days of my life was the day I became an American citizen.” “It happened in a ceremony right here in San Francisco.” “So it is a deep honor for me to be endorsed by the President of the United States.” “And he’s the think that’s going to help every Californian when I’m governor, is that we will have a constructive relationship and partnership with the federal government, which would be the case, I would hope for any party in that situation so that we can make things better in California.” “Work WITH the president and his administration to manage our forests better, to harvest the timber so we can build the single-family homes we need for young families...” “To work to increase California energy production as he wants to do so we can lower gas prices, to fight the fraud in our government so we can cut spending and cut taxes, to work to enforce our immigration laws.” “In all these areas and more it will benefit every Californian to have a governor who is a partner on these issues with the president and his team.”

As resident doctors return to work following the end of strike action, attention must return to the workforce issues that led doctors to take action in the first place. England is facing a serious jobs crisis for doctors. 40,000 doctors applied for 10,000 training jobs this year. In emergency medicine, there are now 14 doctors competing for every single A&E training job. In general practice, competition ratios are 5 to 1. NHS doctors who want to work, train and progress are being blocked from doing so, while patients experience long A&E waits and increasing difficulty accessing GP appointments. Alongside this sits the issue of pay. Doctors have faced years of real-terms pay cuts and sustained pay erosion, despite rising workload, responsibility and intensity of work. Wes Streeting has even recommended a real terms pay cut for next year. These are fundamental workforce issues that affect retention, morale and patient care. Against this backdrop, it has been disappointing to see senior politicians including Wes Streeting and Keir Starmer resort to dismissive language, describing highly trained medical professionals as “moaning minnies”, “juvenile delinquents” and “utterly irresponsible”, rather than engaging with these realities and with resident doctors on the ground. This type of rhetoric from the Government will not resolve the jobs or pay crises. Doctors can see through political spin and gaslighting. The BMA’s door remains open. Wes Streeting must now engage constructively, negotiate in good faith, and focus on delivering credible solutions on jobs and pay.
