BC exempting wind projects from environmental assessments is terrible policy. This is about playing politics — not helping people. At this point, Eby’s energy and climate strategy is just throwing 💩 at the wall to see what sticks. #bcpoli

But is it about politics or just padding friend's coffers with stolen tax dollars. The majority know that the Climate Emergency is an absolute scam & nothing more than the stealing of tax dollars. #NDP #fraud #bcpoli

Absolute insanity especially in this area of Campbell River! Nothing new from the @bcndp

Conservatives: “LESS RED TAPE!” NDP: *removes red tape* Conservatives: “MORE RED TAPE!” Oh #bcpoli…

Does that mean the companies won't have to pay the penalties for killing migratory birds et al??

@BruceBanman What a joke.

hmm ... could an 80 meter #wind tower weighing 300 tons have an #enviromental impact? Thinking a foundation and access road might be useful. Now, the how of #red_tape is another thing. But arguing against the why of it is not exactly...green ... yet strangely revealing.

@HarmanBhanguBC Make the argument against wind energy from a environmental perspective

Billy Bob weighs in...

If Premier Eby was really just throwing that stuff against the wall, I think we'd see a lot of Conservative MLAs affixed to the walls of Legislature. Not sure what an environmental assessment would need to examine for wind turbines... unless it's knowing bird migration paths.
