There have been times I get in an Uber or Lyft and immediately ask that all the windows get rolled down. Sometimes I want to just cancel the ride and jump out. These drivers flood the zone with perfumes. YUCK!

Airbnb needs a scent free option. Just rented a place and had to put all the towels outside because the whole place smelled like dryer sheets because of those towels. Amazing how people life with such overwhelming scents and don’t think twice about it.

This Airbnb looks like an empty restaurant. I hate those fragrance too. I have to deal with people burning incense daily in my apartment building and I hate it. It seeps through the vents and cardboard thin wall.

What is more is when you are on a lovely hike in nature and someone passes by with Tide detergent chemical smell!

If this is so important to you maybe you should message the host and ask them to remove anything like that ahead of your stay.

Airbnb are woke and expensive now.. best to avoid the app entirely

We always remove them. I am very sensitive to the smell, and usually feel ill around them.

It's common for Airbnb properties to have a musty or moldy smell so some hosts go overboard with the scents. And it's a big thing with many upscale hotels to have fragrances blown into the lobby so it smells "good". And a lot of people have no clue that scents cause cancer.

OMG! Yes! Every single Airbnb is full of air fresheners everywhere. they spray all the sheets & the blankets. it’s so disgusting. I always have to bring my own sheets and pillows. I am opening an Airbnb on the Island of Utila, Honduras. It’s all fragrance FREE! Paul, come visit
